  1. Albert, I had to look twice when you said "diecast"! It looks like it came out of the same mold as the plastic one, looks like the panels fit like a glove! Very nice Albert!
  2. Thanks for the kind words, guys! Olle, the decals came with the kit, you get decals for the scripts on the body, (I painted mine) speedometer, guages, tach face, oil filter, valve covers, air cleaner, oil fill cap and a Delco decal for the battery. I used the Delco decal from the Revell '55 Chevy for the generator.
  3. Here's the finished chassis pics, need to add the radiator/core support , then all the shiney bits. Thanks for looking.
  4. Thanks for the comments guys. Here's the finished engine, I added fuel line, coolant bypass hose, plug wires, generator bracket and power steering pump. Thanks for looking.
  5. It's going to be standard 1961 issue, just like me!
  6. Here's my latest project, Lindburg 61 Impala. Painted with Model Master lacquer, Bare metal foiled. I was going to do the red and white interior, changed my mind and went with fawn beige, I think it will look OK, I'm not sure any SS' came with this color combo. Thanks for looking!
  7. Top notch work! Beautiful Falcon!
  8. Thanks for the great coverage on this build-up, Len and Bill! It looks like a million bucks! You have me sold on this kit, I'm going to try and find one tommorow!
  9. Don't worry, I don't even own a gun ! [LOL] I do know I want to get one when it does hit the streets! Thanks for posting the pics!!
  10. Very nice pair of Chevys! Well done!
  11. Just finished this today, been working on it since January: Thanks for looking.
  12. A few more pics before it's finished. Thanks again for looking!
  13. I'd say it still is a dang good build ! It looks perfect to me, the color is perfect for a truck of this vintage. You should still be proud of this one!
  14. I was up in the air about doing the "strip and glue" method, thought I would try it this way. The foil is BMF ultra bright chrome [ cuts like ###### ], but appears to be a close match. Also the insert is painted white, covers about 50% of the trim, I'll let you guys be the judge when it's finished.
  15. This is what I've been working on since January, yes I know I work slow! Revell '55 Chevy. I painted it with Duplicolor, it's a replica of a car a guy down the street had when I was a kid about 8 or 9 years old. This '55 has been stuck in my head all these years, so I had to get it out! And here's where I'm at as of today. Thanks for looking
  16. Very nice paint job! I built one last year, liked this kit so much I bought another ! Please do post more pics!
  17. Bill, I am amazed at your skill level, this Ford is going to be terrific ! I wish I had your attention span to do a model up right like this ! I'll keep watching, thanks for the progress report !

    56 Chevy

Very cool! I like the Belair style two tone! Real nice build!
  19. Very smooth and clean! I used the same colors on my '60 Impala. And the pictures in natural light make a big difference.
  20. That is the most beautiful GTS I've ever seen ! Excellent build quality, and the color you chose makes the whole car "pop" ! I think I'll just sit here and stare at it a little longer !
  21. Beautiful work! My favorite Mopar, I had a 1:1 in high school. A build you can be proud of for sure!
  22. l'll give you just one guess as to what I do for a living!
  23. Thanks for sharing your collection of Mercurys, not often seen in the 1/25th world! The '62 is one of my favorites, my brother had a '62 hardtop when I was about 10yrs old. I loved those jet-tube taillights and I swear to this day that it was the smoothest riding, rattle free car I've ever rode in!
  24. Not a show stopper ? I beg to differ, Steve! It looks like it's right out of 60's Hot Rod magazine! Beautiful work!
