  1. Me too, never drove one but hoping this gets to market. Just difficult to see the justification (sales) that are possible in any further issues/versions of the kit. Could be missing something, are there other avenues that they could take? Seems like currently manufacturers are introducing subject mater that can be re boxed or designed/planned in a way for future new releases.
  2. Does this mean you are getting all new sidewalks/curbs ? As long as you are not loosing hedges/planted decorations or architectural features you could come out a winner in the value of your property as well as the neighbors . it does suck when the powers that be mess w/your stuff tho!
  3. Carl...there are many styles of Cragar wheels and a caboodle of kits that include the various versions. If you could attach a photo of what you are looking for and the tire size your wishing, I'm very confident the brains here on the MCM can put you on the right path?
  4. Yes, but I think we were all on track anyway ?
  5. Dang it Snake, you made me cry! She's incredible! ??
  6. A hometown band from MPLS. Seemingly they could not catch a break, or was it by design?!! Will never forget their performance on SNL. I think by then they knew they weren't meant to be pop stars but for the local fans the meltdown was inevitable anyway, we had all seen those antics before. Such a good tune off a pretty OK album. ( CAN'T HARDLY WAIT! )
  7. My mother was a school teacher who was always correcting people (mostly myself while I was being a smart a**) so I'm used to it.? Yah it's just impossible to follow every thread on the forum, or even bank the ones from just days ago. LOL. Still recommending that mini-mite Dremel tool.??
  8. Yup... those brutish Porches and monsterus Bentley are fun to watch. Are Bentley coming back next year? Thought I heard they were done.
  9. If there are some Ford muscle car enthusiasts beyond the USA, (small percentage) They seem to not like the old molds from the likes of AMT, Revell, etc..(me too) they expect the typical Tamiya quality kits, just plain better engineered kits. There is no way that every car we want will be re-kitted or re-improved by the usaul suspects. But this one I hope they can carry out. ?
  10. So what, there are many topics here that have been addressed/rehashed time and again.? The mini-mite battery powered is the only one I've found usable for my modeling experience. the other Dremal tools I've had where too high speed and did a better job at melting plastic rather than what was intended.?
  11. Wheel covers? Really, is that what concerns you?
  12. Does Revell USA have anything to do with kit design/manufacturing these days? Thought they were just marketing/sales related. Not in the loop like some here, but I'd be all in on a decent '71 Mustang. Just can't see it happening looking at the global view. Fingers crossed on this?
  13. Perhaps true gold plating would have pushed the car too far over the super car price threshold ? That P330 does have painted gold wheels after all and the look has always been one I liked. I do prefer cars with hips, even some American cars can claim that ?? well, not many really.
  14. Somehow I missed the boat on this incredible car when it was presented. It just popped up on my youtube suggested videos thingy. Love the voluptuous 1960's styling with that wonderful Red w/gold brightwork.
  15. Yes the work done by F1 teams on the Covid 19 situation is brilliant. Was any of their efforts included in that Netflix F1 series? check out CrankyYankeeF1 YouTube channel for some good F1 content. The Goodwood Road & Racing YouTube channel has kept me quite entertained this summer, lots of good wheel to wheel racing videos. I unfortunately don't have the proper TV channels to get many of the categories I'm interested in Tho some are available to stream (Bathurst 12 hour) is one I look forward to every year, imagine F1 cars on that circuit ? no, would never happen ?
  16. Steven... As a former Wisconsinite I have to say, Walleye is one of the best fish dishes! Nothing better than the "Walleye dinner" at "THE RANCH" in Hayward Wisconsin .?Get the baked potato. not into fish? Order the Steak, soooooo goooood.??
  17. I've had this kit in the stash for a long time. It seems to me it has some good bones. Any thoughts on the correctness of the T bucket body ? Something about it has always kept the kit on the shelf (to my eyes at least) oh and then that bit about sourcing parts.?
  18. Noel... Engineering has always been my favorite part of F1. The regs. have deteriorated into a quagmire of corporate money and policy over just plain racing. Usually there would be enough off track driver related innuendoes or interesting mid season technical updates that would keep me interested. This year and next look like a promise of the same cr@p as this one so my F1 enthusiasm is waining. Today at Spa? Oh, shambolic show to say the least! This vid (no sweary words in this one I think) is a good synopsis , ya had to see the race and follow F1 to understand.? Verstapen said it best!?BORING!!!!!
  19. Yes photos are great, there are times when a little added explanation/information could be of benefit. There are some fantastic build threads around, I prefer the ones where the OP shares more about how they did it/got there. (Show your work) was a saying back in my school days?sometimes words are equally important.
  20. I don't hear Crowded House at all, but you did send me into a fun but short dive into their music??
  21. Is that from the new album, think I heard a sample of that on KQRS morning show this week. does anyone remember this?
  22. I was really suprized this company was in Hayward Wisconsin (mostly known for the Muskie hall of fame). https://www.concortool.com/ Spent allot of time up there,my folks house was on the " Namekagon" river fed lake that is "Hayward Lake". Wishing I can revisit sometime in the future. who would think that such a high tech company dealing w/international customers would be up in hunting and fishing part of northern WI.
  23. Thnx Peter , have never heard of "hot runners " before. A few years ago I got a tour of a shop that make and refurbish "reciprocating screws" it was very interesting. ?? Just remembered the name of that outfit, ConCor tool and machine. that was when I was still in Wisconsin.
  24. the NEU! song... that guitar sound like the pickups have just been given a heavy coat of Testors Metal Flake.?
