  1. Thanx for input Rusty, I do have one size of Plastruct hex rod, have got to order more sizes. The best way I have found to file/sand down to thickness is to make a shield (a sheat of styrene) with a hole thru it just big enough for the hex head and place over before sanding. Hope makes sense.
  2. That is interesting. question, Is it possible w/that tool to create a proper nut w/hole thru it by drilling first and then punching it out. Oh man that sounds weird but can't think of better way to ask? Joe, you have ordered from them? How was your experience if I can ask.
  3. Ship something rather than nothing. Is there some strange way that makes their customer service look better?
  4. Fabulous Black paint job with those contrasting decals and interior colors work well together...Very nice!? That particular Mustang funnycar body, IMO is one of the best looking ever.? Great job on this one Roger.
  5. Another one for those of you looking for something different from the usual JAZZ, you should give this a listen. There is some fun music happening on it if you listen. Classical and standard jazz music formed my neural connections. Everything after that has been an attention to finding those who break the rules, or those who just did enough different (like on this album.) to expand my ears. Enjoy?and don't get stuck in a rut. https://youtu.be/3fmSe24mED4 more if ya like.
  6. (Jazz Butcher Conspiracy)shared billing Nothing earth shattering about them but they did make for some fun while other bands where very busy navel-gazing. Surprisingly tight, sharp witted group. Like a joke you had to be there for. Question..... Who else here was there at the time? Yah, no.. Cult of the basement anyone?
  7. Perfect ? It's interesting on the track that they used keyboard rather than actual bagpipes. there are a few albums of Steve's that made long road trips special during my younger days. guitar Town, Exit 0, Copperhead Road ? This during a time I was mostly into completely the opposite type of music. There was something about his music/lyrics.
  8. Oh! Those left handed scissors, could not do a thing w/them. I can cut much more accurately with normal ( did I just say that?) right handed ones? Can't explain this at all except perhaps my left hand is better at manipulating/moving the object being cut. Didn't I just see a story of Jimmy Hendrix's father whipping him for being left handed? Terrible sinister artist that one...?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️ Ive never played guitar but would most likely strum w/right, is that typical for lefties?
  9. Oh, this one .... one of the best songs I've ever heard. another cassette quickly eaten by the car deck. Crank it up folks!
  10. Oh, that could be awkward. For some reason I can't figure out my best batting side, perhaps they both suck. Got picked up a couple times, THEY were Lucky chances that introduced me into advertising... (running E-6 photo developing for a huge department store studio). Dayton's if you're from the Midwest. THEN, a lucky break moving into CNC machining. Something that was outside my experience but (PROCESS) based. That I could rap my head around! Sad thing these days is no one understands the abilitys of people other than paper documents. Had so many arguments w/so called SMART folks that I could lose my head on this subject. BTW, have worked in management, they didn't like my style.
  11. Another number to try..,7654321?
  12. Another one from a long lost tape ( for me) found on the tube. my old car deck had a way with destroying these things ? Fun group these guys.
  13. Another interesting group. Does anyone remember the "Blue Airplanes " Had some cassettes that are long lost.
  14. Oh boy, had a hard time finding this thread again via IPad. just thought I'd drop this in. one of my favorite live band experiences was the BAD in MPLS. Mick's mum was in the house, that was cool.
  15. Ha, no I was just continuing Bill's comment ? And thank you so much for the props AND for your input on all things modeling here.? Nerd-yes!
  16. Some here may have noticed that elevator version of this tune in those constant ENBREL commercials on the telly. Well, here is the original... JC, I was just blasting that BAD album out the other day ?Helps with the tinnitus ?
  17. Snake, I am left eye dominate. and neither good looking or talented especially . LOL Do have a strange thing when it comes to deciding best comfort while swinging golf clubs or baseball bats. If I shoot it is only left handed for pistol, right shoulder for rifle.
  18. I think Fad T's are considered outré these days considering the plethora of glass street/custom 70's & 80's examples that cluttered the circuit. My 2 cents.
  19. My mother is semi-ambidextrous due to Catholic teaching methods back in the day when it was considered OK to use the ruler?
  20. Looks good even through all the mud?? Thanx for the tip? I have to admit CA is my least favorite adhesive when it comes to bonding tiny parts. Have had some mishaps ?
  21. Thanx Mike. I do make an effort to photograph the process hoping my experiences can be of help to others. No expert at this stuff like I have said before it's all patience and thinking through difficulties. There is no shortage of fantastic modelers here who have inspired me and given me ideas. Unfortunately because I have switched to a blown engine I will have to tweak the cross stear setup a bit. That big belt crank pulley being the problem. I have raised the front engine mount by 0.020" and then will likely have to put a kink in the steering rod.
  22. To all the right hemisphere functioning members on the board, have a great day?>?<.
  23. Pin location mounts all glued in and drilled out the holes in hood. Whew? The parts are all assembled here temporarily again. This is mostly for seeing how and if there is a way to put all these parts of this kit back together again. ?
  24. I forgot how weird the 928 looks with the headlights up? And that color? Ugh. Fun cars tho, got a chance to drive one many years ago (it was Black).
