  1. If anyone uses this primer I could use some info. I’ve just recently started using this after reading some post where it been used and liked. The main reason I’ve started using it is that it’s ready to spray from the bottle. So my question is this NOT meant to be sanded before the base coat. Even sanding with a 3200 grit pad the primer wears away from any ridges, even if rubbing with a microfiber cloth. My surface is cleaned with soap and water and scuffed properly. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
  2. Your Torino build looks fantastic. Looks good in red.

    Great looking replica you’ve built!
  10. Glad just to get this one out my stash! I know others have fought this one as well with warped chassis and body and out of center wheel wells. Used a lot of clamps, rubber bands and super glue to try and straighten it out. I suppose it turned out ok in the end but it will be on a higher shelf. Paint is Tamiya TS-58 Pearl Light Blue to replicate Ford’s Brittany Blue. Thanks for looking.
  11. Looks really nice, well done sir.
  12. Man oh man! I think they all look great but the your pop machine is the best. These kits are a blast! Can’t wait for the other two.
  13. Here’s my current workbench. Tools I use frequently are kept at my right hand, bottles of paint on the left in a drawer. Everything has a place and usually put back in its place after every session. After every build tabletop gets wiped down and floor vacuumed. I’m quite comfortable in my little nook in the basement. Even added a wash tub to keep from going upstairs to wet sand and scrub parts.
  14. Very nice!
  15. Thank you and they are most certainly a treat to build.
  16. Finished my build of the Tamiya 1/12 scale GSX1100S Suzuki Katana. What a good fun kit for a mere 14.40 from Hobbylinc. Paint is Tamiya TS-30 Silver Leaf. Original bike had a Navy blue seat but I opted for black. I would like to thank Gary at Tamiya customer service for replacing the vinyl tubing that I misplaced. Might have to get my hands on a couple more bikes for display. Hope you like it and thanks for looking.
  17. Beautiful!
  18. Fine looking Firebird!
  19. Great looking Fairlane. I just built this and I don’t recall right off any fit issue but my memory isn’t all that great.
