Beautiful! I started work at a Cadillac dealership 2 years after that new body style came out and just retired this year. Have a soft spot for Caddy models.

Revell 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda 1/24 Scale in Metallic Gold.

Awesome build! -
This is the Revell 1/48 scale F4U4 Corsair. I recently picked up 6 WW2 aircraft kits and this was one first up. In my teen years I built a lot of planes and armor so I’m ready to get back to it. My build here looks good in final photos but it’s not without flaws. Wings will not fold nor will the landing gear retract, builder error and kit design I’m blaming as a factor. Port wing hangs about 1/2 lower than starboard side. Paint is Tamiya AS-8 Navy Blue followed with Mr Hobby Flat Clear. Thanks for checking it out and any comments.

AMT ‘53 Ford and hauler

Yes I do plan on doing the Gulf paint scheme and I did save two of the Gulf decals for it. I do regret not using a lighter color of blue on the trailer, something that matches the Gulf colors better. -

Thank you all for the kind comments. -
Finished the pickup today, have had the trailer done a couple of weeks ago as it was the main reason I purchased the kit. Waiting for the AMT dually kit to come out for my tow vehicle. Both were pretty fun to build. Trailer is painted Tamiya Ts-10 French Blue and the truck is Tamiya AS-1 Dark Green. I used the optional Desoto “Firedome” V8 instead of the flathead. I finished the truck as if the owner is in the final stages of completing his restoration. Thanks for looking and appreciate any feedback.

Very nice! -
Finished this one up this week that I had received as a gift from one of my sons. Fun and rewarding build that I did have a few issues with fitting the cab and bed to the chassis. Ended up having to just glue a piece of flat styrene to the cab and glueing the bed to that. Oh well it worked. Paint is Tamiya TS-10 French Blue. Thanks for looking.

Just finished this ‘34 up after not being able to work on it since last November. Been awful busy trying to get our house ready for sale and trying to get our weekend retreat ready for full time living. Nice kit with tons of options and very little hiccups. Built mine as a custom but can be switched over to a service truck quite easily. Paint is Tamiya TS93 Pure Blue and TS47 Chrome Yellow. Thanks for looking and any comments are appreciated.

After retiring last month my wife and I have been very busy trying to get our old house ready to sell. We sure collected a lot of stuff that needed to be gotten rid of after 40 years. One item was my wife’s old computer desk that now will be my new workbench at our place in woods. Took some strong and determined family members to get it moved here in one piece! Now I just have to get it set up the way I want and get started modeling again.

When I saw the nose art on this P38 kit I had to have it. My mom’s name was Marge and the photo looks quite a bit like her.

After almost 44 years of working as a parts counterman at a Cadillac dealership I retired today. Hard to believe the time had finally come.

Extremely well done!
