  2. Nice review here.
  3. I like that it appears to be packaged in a larger box, so the contents aren't jam packed to fit an existing box. Moebius could take note.
  4. And here are some random car and truck pics my dad took over the years. I think this is Mosport, but could be wrong. Summer of '76, apparently. The mall is still around. Guessing that awesome Cougar is long dead. Dad knew I've always been into trucks. This was from '78. Yup, me again. Toronto, 1978 Edmonton, 1979 Moving to Edmonton, 1979 Tyrone Malone brought the show to Edmonton. I want to to say this was 1982. Could be 1983. Remember kids, safety third. Columbia Icefields here in Alberta. Take one of these buses onto the glacier. They still run these same buses today. A couple of years ago (literally,) one had the brakes fail, it rolled down the hill and killed a bunch of people. And this is what the buses replaced. 1987 I believe.
  5. I've been slowly digitizing all of my parents' old slides. These are from the mid-60s to the mid-80s. There are some cool cars in there. Here are some of the cars my mum & dad owned. Yes, this is me. And the end of our Torino. And this was my grandpa. Would love to find this car and bring it back to Canada, but according to the UK's DVLA site, it hasn't been registered since 1987, so I'm assuming this Reliant no longer exists.
  6. 1. Star Wars - the original trilogy 2. The first three Jason Bourne movies 3. Christine 4. Christmas Vacation 5. This Is Spinal Tap 6. Monty Python & The Holy Grail Couldn't stick to 5.
  7. Very nice! Capri was a great looking car to start with. The Lotus look makes it even better.
  8. Unfortunately, the MC5 are the only ones on that list that will ever get considered. And actually have been considered. But I don't see them getting in.
  9. Very good looking car, but I'm guessing about 150hp...maybe...out of that 5.0L? The malaise era. Awesome, yet awful.
  10. Yes, that sounds like a Heritage Edition.
  11. Some very cool stuff. That gasser Vette. lolz. I dig it!
  12. Holy moly. That dark green Caddy is amazing. Never understood the people that pack up and leave shows as soon as there's a little rain. Your car's already wet, and it's not dirty road water, just wait it out.
  13. No Grabber Blue on the new Broncos. Area 51 is a darker non-metallic grey-ish blue. Then there's Robin's Egg Blue on the Heritage model which is kind of a pastel blue. Velocity Blue was a bright metallic, but is now discontinued.
  14. Looks like Friday was Ferrari day. This is outside one of my client's place. The Ferrari is owner #1. The TRX is owner #2 The Hellcat is their Controller. There's also a super sweet nee Volvo wagon, but he wasn't in. Went out for dinner Friday night, and this was parked out front.
  15. Fallis is a small village about 30 minutes west of here. It's a blink and you miss it sort of village. One turn off from the highway, not very well marked. But for some reason, they have an annual car show that gets a lot of attention. We went on Saturday.
  16. My son sent me this one. Of course, he's only 19, and none of his friends are getting married, but still...
  17. I like how Andrey is slowly adding more and more detail to his designs. It wasn't that long ago that they were very basic curbsides, often with no interiors at all. Then he added interiors, then opening hoods, now including engines. The trucks originally all had the same basic chassis and suspension, now they're getting a little more accurate. I like his stuff. Have spent many a dollar on his files!
  18. There are some options out there. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/art/chevy-s10-1-25-truck-cap https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/art/chevy-s10-1-25-truck-cap-basic https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/1-25-scale-8-ft-truck-canopy https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/truck-topper-camper-shell-top-snug-top-for-short-bed-box-chevy https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/slide-in-camper https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/camper-cap-for-the-rc4wd-blazer-body Could always use more though. ?
  19. I'm not big on MPC kits, but I love the malaise era of cars. That Shelby Charger will make it's way into my stash.
  20. Way back in elementary school, I was in the Bigfoot fanclub. I remember on my birthday one year, they sent me an 8x10 glossy, a birthday card, and a Bigfoot balloon with cardboard "feet" to put around the end. I thought it was awesome. Anyway, one of the 3D file designers I've bought from in the past has just put out a bunch of monster truck items, obviously styled around Bigfoot. Thinking about printing one. Full kits: https://cults3d.com/en/design-collections/CosplayItemsRock/monster-mega-mud-trucks-scale-1-25 He has just the chassis available too. Your post makes me want to do this.
