  1. Thanks very much to all of the above who took the time to respond it is appreciated. RE: John Pol, those are Pro Tech seatbelts which I feel are easy to work with and look pretty good. Glen
  2. This would be more of a "shelf model class" build. Revell 2010 Camaro with the back half chassis of the less accurate but more compact AMT pro street Chevelle, Comp. Resin hood and Slixx decals. Not a lot of scratch built items other than the roll cage and reducing the front wheel openings app. .080". Finish is Tamiya met. blue with clear blue an MM wet look clear. Thanks for checking it out and I'm OK with any comments or questions. Glen
  3. Tom, it's a clean, neat, and period correct built you've got there. First rate job. Glen
  4. Mike, regardless of the time frame this is a really nice build. Good job. Glen
  5. Tony, kudos on bringing this old FX kit up to the level we see here job well done! Glen
  6. Bill this build checks all the boxes great detail, super clean construction, and awesome paint/finish. Great job all around. Glen
  7. Tom I believe the only issue would be a shorter filter life. Glen
  8. Great variety of detail parts just wish they had a smoother finish. Glen
  9. Tim, great start on an ambitious project. You seem to have a plan for doing it right best of luck. Will definitely be checking in on your progress. Glen
  10. Dan, you had the vision and produced a great clean build very nice job. Glen
  11. Wayne, you did a great job resurrecting an iconic car from the glory days of Pro Stock. Glen
  12. Dan, outstanding workmanship on this build! Talk about setting the bar higher. BTW I still miss the SLM days. Glen
  13. Stuart, I would say your first attempt at airbrushing and weathering went very, very well. Over the years I spent quite a bit of time at Conn. Dragway an enjoyed the local connection of this build. In addition the town I live in is closely bordered by Taunton and Somerset Mass. Thanks, Glen
  14. Jack, this car along with Don Bowles Mustang gave the Chevy guys fits. Good job. Glen
  15. Jack, he was an innovator and it's great to see this car remembered. Glen
  16. Tim, good to see your progress. That is a nice red you've gone with, bet your glad you didn't do the cage body color first time around. Glen
  17. Bernie, very smooth paint and cleanly assembled equals a top notch box stock build. Glen
  18. Tom, as long as I thin the paint to the right consistency I spray at 18psi to 20psi. Glen
  19. Chris, I subscribe to the 'thin, soft, close" method. Thin paint, low pressure, close to the target, for me I feel it results in less overspray/orange peel. It seems when it comes to airbrushing just about everyone has a method that works for them and you will no doubt develop your own also. Glen
  20. Chris, I have a Grex TG .3MM with the fan spray cap that does exactly that. As far as easy clean up, well I don't think it's to bad but that will vary from person to person. Glen
  21. Manuel, your results speak volumes about the work your put in on this build, especially considering the JoHan kit this started with! Glen
  22. Jack, great subject to do a model of and his Pinto was also a formidable Modified Eliminator contender. Glen
  23. Jerry, great job on a kit I frankly don't ever remember seeing. Glen
  24. Mike what an example of unparalleled craftsmanship! Glen
  25. Guys thanks for the positive reviews. Glen
