  1. I think I still have some small parts that I had for over 40 years but that engine I used a couple years ago was the last of the larger parts I had for over 40 years I had since they were new. I have plenty of old parts mainly from the Monogram 34 and 40 pickups kits but someone else had held on to them for many years and I just recently got them.
  2. It's a 1/25 scale AMT Y block,I just recently picked up a Monogram 56 Thunderbird to see how that engine is.
  3. I was hoping to paint this one but it was glued together too good so I left it black,I put another frame under it since most bumper brackets were broken off. This one got a 289 under the hood.
  4. I was trying for the farmer home made larger truck look from a pickup, engine has been upgraded to a Y block.
  5. I just received two beer keg gas tanks the sender had for over 50 years,a couple years ago I finally used the optional Olds engine from the 40 Ford sedan in a 40 standard coupe I built with sedan parts. I built the kit it came from in 73 or 74. I had put that Olds engine in a few models that I pieced together with junk parts that ended up being used for parts but the engine I kept,it had so many coats of paint and almost got put in the trash since I had another that was not painted but since I had it so long it had to be used.
  6. These 60s models came in the last couple days.
  7. Message me with your address and they are yours.
  8. I think in 66 they were all blue but what about the 62 to 65s,
  9. I decided to use parts I have in stock for this build and going to use a 289 for a 60s vibe, will remember that Revell flathead when I need one on the next build. Did not want to buy another kit for a quicky build.
  10. I do not have enough parts to build another so unless I get more parts this one is the last.
  11. It's just going to be a quick rebuild,I really wanted to paint it but do not want to break it taking it apart. This is the fourth 40 I have done like this over the last few months.
  12. PM sent back.
  13. While looking for parts for the AMT 36 Ford I found another 40 coupe,I told myself I was done with them for awhile but it will go together while waiting on paint and glue to dry. If I could get it apart I was going to paint it but the body is glued to the fenders too good so it's going to get a new chassis and some detailing and call it done, was going to put a flathead in it but it's going to get a 289 Ford this time since I have never tried to put one in before. It will chrome rims.
  14. Looking for a gas tank from the Monogram beer wagon.
  15. The beer keg tank from the Monogram beer wagon works perfectly,I have one and need to find another.
  16. Going to post this in the WIP section as it looks like its going to be another save and a quick put togather.
  17. I have a cut up frame with a complete front suspension and one rear spring.
  18. I know some came with the 50 convertible but were speed parts ever made for the 40 flathead,I am thinking a hoped up flatty should go in my latest 40 coupe since all the others have gotten a OHV.
  19. While looking for the parts to complete the 36 Ford project I found a partial 40 coupe, well I had the parts to complete so it looks like one more in the making. I had done four or five in the last few months so I think this one will be for next winter.
  20. While looking for the parts I found some smooth hood sides that will be going on,I also found I was missing the part behind the grille between the hood sides thinking it would stop the progress but eventually found one so soon it will be built between other projects.
  21. I have a AMC engine I can donate to the project.
  22. Found enough parts to put this back together, not sure on the engine right now but hope to get to it before it gets warm as I have a few in front of this one.
  23. I think it's a annual and not a promo.
