Thanks for the tip on the tailgate steve.i'm going with black too just like the original box art when i start working on it.do you plan detail it a bit? i'm not sure which way to go with mine as the original kit exhaust/mufflers are pretty brittle on my kit.i wanted to build it box stock,but I might detail it a bit since i'm gonna have replace the exhaust anyway since its all damaged and too far gone to use.what color are you gonna do the interior?

I'm looking forward to seeing the progress on your warlock steve.I had this kit when I was kid too.i picked an original MPC Warlock several years ago that somebody started on that was missing the chassis.all of the 4WD parts were there.i picked up a reissued Lil Red Express kit for several parts I needed for my warlock.i never knew billy goochie made repo decals for that kit.i will definitely have to get a set of those for mine. I've seen factory warlocks that were black,orange,red and green.keep the progress pics coming

  6. It looks like the original color of the car is solid bright red.ive seen many people paint the model candy or metalflake red.which is correct?

  15. this is a club build i finished up a couple of weeks ago.a replica of the shelby that belgians claude dubois and chris teurlinex raced in the 1967 24 hrs of Le Mans.the car failed to finished the race due to engine trouble in the 7th hour.revell kit with the front valance and rear splash pan modifed.the decals are Vintage Racing Miniatures and the paint is duplicolor wimbledon white and the clear is also duplicolor.i lowered it a bit and added fog lights from the parts box with masking tape covers.thanks for looking.
