I was just thinking the same, even as pricey as it is, you're not playing with vintage, I.E. expensive and rare hardware!

Nope, Mom hasn't been able to physically drive for a few years now and hasn't been able to get in their van at all for the last year (hopefully the latter part is now different), but has a license..........as well as another recent via mail renewal notice for it...........I think it's been over a decade since she had the last picture taken!

I'm not that lucky yet, should be interesting to see what happens in '18 when I have to renew my DL again.

I was at a post office today and after about a minute in line, somebody in his late 80's/early 90's walks in and within a minute of walking in starts to whine that it's taking to long and wants to know why only one of the 2 registers is open (only had one cashier in duty, plus I was one of 5 people in line ahead of him) and that he was going to go to another office......... After I got up to the window I had to fill something out for one of the things I was going to mail, so I stepped off to the side to work on that then went to the back of the line (which was down to this guy and another close to him in age by now)......not sure what would have been worse, how this guy would have reacted if I had just gone and went right to the window after filling out the paperwork or if he had to go to the local Secretary of State office and get a license plate sticker like I had to for the Jeep after leaving the Post Office..........the line there was almost out the door when I got there and got worse after I got there!

Honestly, it still looks better in that pic than the other three.

I only take 38 on the way in, between the roads, traffic, construction, and late night j-walkers, I hate running it from Kress Rd. in West Chicago west to Randall Rd. I usually go home 64 instead, a little longer, but the roads are better, they're better lit so you can more easily see the j-walkers, and there's no construcion going on!

Lol, you should try Rt. 38 from downtown Geneva west to Rt. 47 Harry. They started resurfacing the worst sections of it and now it's nice and smooth, but also a minefield of manholes sticking 2+ inches above the road and lane closures installing them along the more residential portion of the road. The new over pass at the UP (ex C&NW) tracks is nearing completion, but there is now drainage work being done along 38 in West Chicago where Fabian Pkwy and Washington St meet 38.......my drive to work currently sucks worse than normal..........

That would be cool, but moreso with the Olds engine!

Also forgot that the Citation kit from Revell has the 2.8l, while the Revell FWD Pontiac Grand Prix's had the 2.8l and 3.1l, IIRC the Monogram Fiero had a version of the 2.8l, and then the late 80's-mid 90's T-Bird and Cougar had the 3.8l Supercharged V-6.

There were at least a couple versions of the 4.3l V-6, the old pushrod Ford 4.0l V-6 both in 1/20 and 1/25, a couple of the earlier version of the Chrysler 3.5l V-6, and then there is the Mistubishi 3.0l twin turbo V-6 also in 1/20 and 1/25 and the 2JZ twin turbo I-6 from the Tamiya and AMT Supras.

The somewhat recently reissued MPC/AMT '88 Dodge Daytona has an ok representation of the later 2.2 Turbo 2 engine , with some of the parts to backdate it to the earlier Garrett turboed Turbo 1. It is molded to one of the 5 speeds, but you can cut that off and attach it to a late model 5 speed and the tamer version of the Chrysler Torqueflite.

I hope the local distribution companies have enough in stock, or this area will be dry until they can get more!

My 200 has them, but I never use them. I did have a guy who I actually popped the car into reverse at a red light to try and warn them they only had their driving lights on in his dark colored SUV by using my back up lights......didn't work......

I keep seeing people driving around after dark with their lights off, and not all of them have driving lights or fog lights that can be run on their own!
