  1. My Sister drove her Challenger, but her drive to work and back is far shorter than mine. Her's is roughly 3 miles residential street round trip while mine is over 8 miles residential and highway for just the drive in.
  2. Well, looks like I'll be driving the Jeep to work today ......
  3. Probably put a motor in the back and one pair if rear wheels are just there for extra weight support like a bus.
  4. I've heard that about the HP, and in some cases, that sounds more like rear wheel horse power than at the crank. Put a tune on it for E85 (maybe with bigger pump and injectors) or race gas and it could be seeing 900hp in otherwise stock trim!
  5. Yeah, same here. I'm the same way with Losi's (well, anybody's really) 1/5th scale gasoline burners......very, very cool, but expensive ($900-$2,000), too big for the space I have to run in, plus not as useful as one of those Phantoms with the camera!
  6. And I have to wonder how many have since been on Law and Order, SVU with all the up and coming actors
  7. I know, believe it or not, we have sold a surprising number of them and even had the Geneva F.D. asking about one with FLIR to check for hot spots at fire scenes and search and rescue duties.
  8. Depends on which one he has, the one with no camera is around $400-$450, with a basic WiFi camera that can transmit to your phone we sell for $489.99, the one that holds a GoPro and has a gimbal like the one in the video we had for $960, then we also sell one that has a WiFi camera mounted to a gimbal with a WiFi range extender (also transmots to phone) mounted to the controller for $1150 (and that just dropped from $1300!). These all have a GPS based return to home system so that if there is a problem (like if the transmitter dies mid flight), it will fly back to where it started and land. I've been told there is a $1300 model that you can program in a flight path and it will fly that path completely on it's own, so he could have programmed that one to fly up and down his block if he wanted to.
  9. Not sure who else is close to Rosemont now that Al's is closed up beside the Schaumburg Hobby Town on Golf Rd. I work for the HTU in St. Charles at 2061 Lincoln Highway (aka IL Rt. 38, Roosevelt Rd, and State St.) And will be working 11am-7pm tonight (we close at 8pm) as well as 10am-6pm on Saturday (all day shift), and the store will be open 11am-5pm Sunday, but I have that day off.
  10. I went back and IMDb'd it, didn't realize that Adam 12 ran that long.
  11. Ducky I take it? I think David McCallum was the only regular member of the cast that was acting at the time (Man from U.N.C.L.E.).
  12. Found this video shot with a DJI Phantom Vision 2 quad copter of it's owner's block in Seneca, NY.
  13. I live in a town that has a large Latino population (almost 48/48 with that last 4% being every one else) and when I went to check their web site on my phone, it automatically came up with the mobile device web site, so I put in my Zip Code, and all of the info came up in Spanish without prompting the site to do so?!
  14. Ditto, although if I were somehow in a position to buy a 1:1, it would be the Charger.......or a 300 if they did one
  15. I've already had a customer asking if there was a model of the Challenger, hadto tell her no, and if there was, I'd have bought at least one already!
  16. No thanks, the 20.5 gallon tank in my Jeep is bad enough.
  17. Put over 16 gallons of gas in my Jeep for only $45, there have been time the last couple years that $45 would barely buy 10 gallons!
  18. I wondered what was up with that stripped car.
  19. Saw that already, thought the donuts around the donut shop and the White Bronco were nice touches.
  20. Would that be somewhere in the Ford Galaxie by chance Chuck?
  21. Moreso to get up and over things most vehicles can't while getting away from civilization, breakage just sometimes happens in doing so.
  22. Hey Tom, I take it that this Buick is literally one of those "only driven to church on Sunday" type cars? My 200 has nearly that many miles on it and it was built in January of 2012, but I didn't buy it until April of 2012 with less than 75miles on the clock, plus that includes driving my Jeep during the last two winters (and a couple days already this month), and not driving it (well, both really) any more than neccessary last year due to lack of funds!
  23. That it does, isn't that the rename of their big sedan?
  24. Old and In The Way's self titled first album.
  25. After all the road salt used last winter, my Jeeps front axle is a bit of a mess. Dad threw new pads and rotors on it for me while I was at work and sent me a close up picture via text message of the left front u-joint saying we're going to need to swap that out soon too, and it was a good thing he told me what it was, otherwise I'd have spent the rest of the shift trying to figure out why he texted me a close cropped picture of something on the Titanic!
