  1. Maybe instead of a traditional trike, narrow up a banjo rear end as far as possible and tuck the rear tires as close to each other as possible. If you want to stay as a traditional trike, make it a BMW style shafty!
  2. As cool as that FC is, it would never make it past NHTSA or IIHS I do really like the J-Truck concept though, that actually looks like it's something that could be crashable too!
  3. Got the 1/24 Monogram slicks that I traded with Corvair Jim on for my Revell '77 Chevy Van today
  4. Those fans are just freaking stupid, if you know that's coming at you, stay out of the friggen road!
  5. I'd still like to see the rally drivers have to do this stuff under the conditions that the Moonshiner Runners had to do their work in. Wonder if they'd even be able to keep up with some of the early NASCAR drivers in built up WW2 era cars with a trunk full of shine, crappy lighting, on the same types of roads at night with LEOs hit on their tails.
  6. I'd love to see some of the old kits get back dated to original specs, if a smallish company like Round 2 can do it with the AMT and MPC stuff, a big company like Great Planes/Hobbico should be more than solvent enough to do the same with the Monogram and Revell stuff.
  7. Dang it, now I have the sound of the old Draw Through T1 in my Lebaron ringing in my ears, and I haven't even driven an early T1 car in 8 years
  8. Well, one.....it was a song, so liberties are usually take, but if somebody had the ability to make an adapter like nowadays, they should have been able to put a then modern 4-speed behind one.
  9. Can't wait to see this one finished, nice touch on the blue windshield tint too BTW!
  10. Same here, I take it that movie didn't help your's any either O_o
  11. It all depends for me, I can get insperation from just about any place, and many times, the stupidest of places! Here's some of the insperation for the Revell Ban I started last night as well as a blown, hemi powered B-Van I saw a in a Hot Rod magazine that was older then I was. The other is for a 2008 Bullitt Mustang that is being turned into a Targa Toped 2 seater. I saw this video at the gym last week and thought I was seeing thing since I was across the room from the TV and had left glasses in my Jeep and even has me considering starting '68 Mustang along the same lines and doing them as a pair of what if concept cars built 40 years apart
  12. Thanks Skip, I noticed that shortly after I posted in here for the last time at around 4am.
  13. Thanks! How much of a drop did you get? I'm looking for only 1"-2" total on it. BTW, Are the rear ends on the real cars actually aluminum like instructions say?
  14. I'm trying to figure out the beast way to drop a Revell '05-'09 Mustang kit and can't seem to find that forum to post the question.
  15. Ah, cool! Looks about dead on for the stripe on the '88 Shadow ES Turbo I also used to own!
  16. Wow, I take it you masked and painted that stripe?
  17. I got 5 $20 bills for an RC car I no longer use! Now I just got to stop at the bank tomorrow to deposit it into my new 1:1 car fund........................
  18. Did you use Semigloss Black or Semigloss Clear over the existing Black?
  19. That is an incredible looking build Geoff!
  20. That paint is fantastic so far, probably far better than they ever left the factory with!
  21. Funny you mention that sign Chuck, picked one of those up when I was in Branson last.
  22. Generally if a store employee gets "snooty" with a customer, it's usually being returned to said customer who has been dishing it out ad nausium from the time they walked in the door. People forget respect is two way street and if you treat somebody like trash, don't be surprised if there aren't rose petals from them everytime you walk in the door. BTW, Yoda (Noel) turned me on to this comic strip, had plenty of been there, done that's between my sister, mom, and myself between all of us working retail and my sister's library job too. http://www.retailcomic.com/?p=3551
