  1. You know Michelle, I think with a mild shaving, slightly larger wheels, and either airbags or a slight drop, those cars would make nice looking mild kustoms.
  2. Finally got a couple cell phone pics of my Losi Micro Crawler downloaded onto Photobucket. It'll eventually get crossbred with an old Lindberg 1/20 Grand Cherokee Super Snap kit that I've had laying around here since '95 or '96. For a better sense of just how small this truck it, here's a better pic of it flexing out on a Revell 1/25 snap together C6 Vette
  3. Wow, that Edsel is cleaning up nicely Ron.
  4. I wonder if that is the name of that body style or generation of truck, kinda like Jeep does with their vehicles (XJ, MJ, ZJ, WJ, TJ, JK, ect.)
  5. Just ordered up a set of those for a customer at work yesterday, can't wait to see them when they come in!
  6. Where did you take those pics Davin?
  7. Unless they're the last of the muscle cars, vans, or Jeeps, I have no interest just about anything else from the 70's.
  8. I'd definitely buy the 1/25 and at least be drooling over the 1/8th of not putting one on lay-a-way at work for myself!
  9. I keep thinking that it's real because of the lights, glass, and rims, but the grill openings and the "fasteners" on the sides look kinda off.
  10. I just prefer shopping in a real store, and so long as it's reasonable, I don't mind paying taxes on purchases either. I'd rather keep my neighbor employed too.
  11. Yea, IIRC that Camaro had a Dana 44 rear axle with the steering knuckles off a K-5 on the ends of the tubes. I think it was said that there were no yes or no answers to the questions they were asking, just that is wasn't right for the Camaro....or the American F/S truck driving public either from what I understand about what was produced
  12. That is going to be pretty amazing by the time you're done with it.
  13. Yup, and IIRC there was a turbocharged, twin 2.8l V-6 engined Citation X11 that was meant as a test bed to determine if a twin V-6 powered Corvette might be viable as well a Beretta with some sort of a small Asian V-8 in it
  14. I was thinking more along the lines of the picture above my post
  15. You know, I've thought about taking one of the MPC/AMT kits a post landing General Lee, that looked pretty much like that
  16. You know, I remember reading back in the 90's that the guys at GM's "skunkworks" took one of the earlier versions of that body on a Caprice C9P/Impala SS chassis with a Holden IRS back of it. IIRC they wanted to see how well a unibody shell and normal frame would work together, and I think they threw the Holden IRS in it for the heck of it
  17. The current ones are all of the concept car, Revell is going to be bringing out a full detail SS though.
  18. looks good so far, kinda wondered what you were going to use for the starting kit when I saw the title!
  19. I think Harry is right here, most of them have either been scrapped or given away by/purchased from WB a long time ago for the TV cars, not sure about the movies cars though. I do know somebody locally who it stilling a 318 powered clone for $20k though....seems like it should have a lot more than just a 318, but all things considered, that is as "accurate" as a 440 and probably more so than a Hemi
  20. All things considered detail wise, from what I've read about the way they build cars for the TV Series, you could have a '70 Charger shell (with doors and trunk lid off anything from a '68-'70) with '68 front fenders and either a stock '68 grill with a fabricated grill splitter (I have read that somewhere, just can't remember where) or a "proper" '69 grill that was used for one of the stunt vehicles and technically that might still be accurate Looks like it "might" be B5 Blue, but don't quote me on that
  21. IIRC it was a Diecast from Revell/Monogram back in the early to mid 00's. I might even have one partially built in storage somewhere too come to think of it
  22. Didn't Don Yenko use a stripe like that on his hot rodded Corvairs?
  23. IN all honesty, if I ever buy one of these kits, That's exactly how I plan on building it
  24. Well, they could make a light aircraft section, as much time as that car spen airborn in the show and movies that might be more approriate
