  1. Proud .........The old man would be right there with him wanting to have the next go at it
  2. No, it's missing pasty, scrawny guys with fangs and a bunch of hairball jocks
  3. I have seen Suburbans and Tahoes like that around here in the Chicago Burbs, especially since Obama has been elected, more so when he and the family are back for a visit.
  4. I think Dave's talking about Hot Topic, those tend to have a pretty heavy Goth theme to them, might also check places like the FYE music stores too, they can carry some odd stuff too.
  5. Can't wait to see this one done already!
  6. That's a pretty sweet build, was that the original plastic color or did you paint it after you stripped the tampo's?
  7. Nasty looking car, is it going to be an oil burner too?
  8. Neat idea, I've talked with people about this using the GN/GNX and Elky kits from Revell/Monogram. ot sure what would be cooler in it though, the Buick 3.8l Turbo or the Syclone 4.3l Turbo motors.
  9. Who cares what the price is, it's a Hudson Hornet in styrene!
  10. Great build Grzegorz, I hope you don't mind if I posted the pics and a link on a couple Jeep forums I belong too.
  11. Got a profile pic of that triple black R/T with the top up Dave?
  12. I remember reading the build of the 1/1 in an old Hot Rod Magazine that Dad has managed to hang on to. That and the Monza would make for some neat reissues from Round 2 as well!
  13. I used to work with a retired cop and when he first started the Addison, Illinois PD had some Mopars that were the same way. I had always heard that the Police Package cars had the best brakes and Dad used them quite a bit on it the B-Bodys he and Mom had owned. Dad figured and I later found out that those police cars hadn't actually been Police Package cars, but regular cars with all of the lights and such installed. Speaking of scary brakes, has anybody else had the displeasure of driving a Jeep Cherokee with the early Chrysler/Bendix 4 wheel ABS system? The '90 Laredo Dad just scrapped this summer had that and they rarely worked right and would in some cases prevent the truck from stopping all together! Luckily that system only lasted from '89-'91, my Sister's now also scrapped '92 Briarwood had the system that replaced it and that worked a whole lot better than the prior. When I bought mine I decided to forgo that route all together and found a Cherokee with just the standard power assisted disk/drum brakes.
  14. I loved that line of kits, kinda would like to see Round 2 bring a few of them back, this one in particular! Preferably in just plain white or grey plastic though
  15. Eelco's got a point, the way it's done there doesn't look right, and it seems like the word HEMI should be larger and cover more of the door as well.
  16. Just picked one up tonight!
  17. Those monster rims look just right on that big of a car! What color is that anyway, it looks good on there too
  18. Yea, the shape of them on that car just doesn't look right either now that you mention it.
  19. Not a bad idea Eelco!
  20. I like it, but it does need a little chrome on the grill or something, all that matte black just don't look right.
  21. I've seen a lot of tops that look decent on cars, but this one looks wrong to me, especially in white Here's what it looks like in black;
  22. I was buying a couple items needed for charging batteries at work today and figured I need to spend a little more money to justify using a check........so here's my justification Don't know when or if I'll get around to doing anything with it, but I figured I might was well get one while I could still get it
  23. The pointless shaker is kinda dumb, but it's nothing compared to the top when it's up. That top just kills the lines of the car and doesn't even come close to looking right on the car.
