  1. The 200 started this morning in -15° weather with it's 6 year d factory battery.......kinda cranked slow before firing, but it's actually running better today than I am!
  2. The battery in my 2012 200 is factory and it's turning over slow in this cold, but at least it's starting the car still.
  3. Does it include a chassis plate as well, or do I need to stretch the kit chassis?
  4. The battery died in my XJ few months back and finally was able to get a new one this week for it, just haven't pulled it out of the 200's trunk to swap since it's been so darned cold, plus I have.....something, right now.
  5. Are these still available? Got a kit earlier this month and want to build the jump truck out of it.
  6. Wow, you're worse than my Sister, Her Boyfriend, and Me put together, spend too much time around cats and we're miserable and it has nothing to do with how the cats act, unless it belongs to one of their friends and former co-workers........ He seems to home in on who ever is allergic and make sure you spend plenty of time with him!
  7. Found some cool, related stuff here. https://www.instagram.com/allison_design/
  8. Look up that car though, it's not just a show car, it was built to prove what the G-Body was capable of. That car could pull 1g on a skid pad and was basically a warmed over H/O with bigger rims and big, sticky tires paired with the aero improvements, including a dash adjustable rear spoiler.
  9. I know, the 235/75R15's on my XJ are around 28", but food for thought, the 235/50ZR18 BFG's I have on my 200 are around 27" tall.
  10. Looks like the stock size is 255/75R17 and those are about 32" or so tall, I would probably stay with a 17" rim and the stock diameter or see what is slighy taller and wider, but within reason in an A/T tire, or a touch more aggressive if I was converting a Rubicon and still planned on using it as one after the work was done
  11. I think tjat's the problem, they went for the tall and skinny Army Truck Tire look, but the extra skinny Bro-Truck wheels and tires that look more Deuce and a Half sized vs Jeep and Light Truck sized throw it off, something about the right size for a Rubicon, or next size taller and wider would look better, especially with the stock car style steelies that many Jeepers like.
  12. How did you do the vinyl top?
  13. Must be in a Cadillac mood, picked up one of the Revell Cadillac Lowriders at the Schaumburg HTU for cheap aince it was closing and my former employers have stepped it to take it over after the season is up. Picked up a set of AMT Gasser wheels and tires too.
  14. How much of it is aluminum vs plastic or steel. If I were them, I'd look at a steel bed with easily replaced plastic bed sides and tailgate outter skin, ala Cameo and Sportside trucks as well as aluminum hood and plastic front fenders and maybe door skins, ala Saturn. Ah, that's right, couldn't remember when that was to hit! I'd keep the sidewall profile, but go with a shorter rim and tire that is closer to stock diameter but wider than what ever is stock, I'd probably look at a Rubicon to base it off of.
  15. You know, there is supposedly a pickup version of the new JL Wrangler, if somebody offers that NuKaiser style nose for it, you could probably do the conversion on it youself with minimal issues! You could even buy a used 4dr JK and make it a Scrambler style Jeep Truck, then that pic is probably something UAV put together, they offer a more traditional style pickup conversion for TJ and JK Wranglers.
  16. I hope the mid run cosmetic refresh is kind to it, it's kinda ugly.
  17. Lucky, I haven't had the chance to start....
  18. Keep an eye on my Dark Deuce build thread, the first pair will be the small light housings using the clear parts of 6mm Googly Eyes for lenses. Need to research different 1:1 designs first though.
  19. Picked up another Foosillac while at HL today with some small tools, clear plastic cement, poster tack, HD hole punch, and some self stick clear rhinestones to try and make LED headlights from.
  20. Nope, although I think they prefer unwrapped coins so they can run it through their own counter. I don't have a debit card though, I prefer cash or check. The Jewel/Osco Mom and I worked at has one, I'd rather take the change to my bank or roll it and bring it in for that store to use and keep that 10% Used to have a sorter too, hope yours was better than mine was.......
  21. Just took my change cups (32oz plastic drink cups filled with change) to the bank, had $220.10 between the 4!
  22. I had thought about poster tack putty too, just haven't had the chance too look yet .
  23. Cool, I didn't know HobbyLobby carried those, I'll keep an eye out next time I'm there, it'll work for the Harley LED style headlight setup I want to use too! Thanks!
  24. Give it time, there will likely be one before too long. The Chrysler 200 in my avitar pic is one of the cars that left Sterling Heights with the 3.6l/6speed auto combo from the vans and Journey and it's the same with those. The cars solid 14 second cars on regular and MT got 13.99 on E85 with their '11 test car, that's Fox Body/3rd and early 4th Gen F-Body territory! They're also limited to 120mph (that one still is), but they can be unlocked with programmers and run upwards of 155mph!
