Terrific!! It'll be great to see when finished! ??

This is an interesting approach. The exhaust stack comes out of the saddlebag fuel tank. Or, is it not the exhaust stack, just an overzealous fuel tank vent? ? ??

At least your forecasts have some interesting variables, even drama. About 90% of our forecasts are the same five words: "Hot and dry; heat advisory." Rumor has it the forecasts are all pre-recorded to be run and re-run and re-run . . . broadcast stations save on labor costs. ??

Thank you, too, Dave. You've reminded me of the MPC connection, too. We now return this thread to Casey's previously scheduled program, already in progress. ??

Ahhh. Thanks, Mark. Well, dusty old gray matter was somewhat close! We now return this thread to Casey's previously scheduled program, already in progress. ??

Tim, Thank you! But, a question: I note the infamous metal hood clip is shown on the instruction sheet, but it does not appear on the box-bottom "Parts Overview" and there is no mention of it in your review. So, inquiring minds want to know - is the dagnabbit clip back or not? PS: I really like the look of the new chassis screws. If we have to have them, they might as well look a little more 21st century that the 60's dudes did! Thanks, again, for the walk-through and overview review! ??

I'm doing it now. 1/35 Zvezda (kit brand) GAZ-AA. It's the Russian version of the Ford AA truck. Wish me luck. I think the only other times I ever attempted to build multi-piece bodied kits were YEARS ago, as a youngster. My first ever car model was the AMT/Revell 1/32 1956 Chrysler custom kit . . . when it was new. My parents gave it to me as an instant baby-sitter one night while they had a party. I agree: tube glue was not the ticket with multi-piece bodies. We'll see. ??

Nice stuff, all you guys!! Guess I better get in gear and glue my engine halves together. ? ??

Here are some very cob-webbed gray matter cells trying to work together: Didn't the '28 Ford Tudor sedan kit actually originate as a special run for distribution to Ford dealers only, prior to this public issue? Seems to my recollection that the kit was highly sought after. It was in a box much plainer than retail sales boxes. As a result of the clamoring demand, this kit was released (but later). Feel free to jump in or jump on me, correct away if my memory is skewed. ??

I haven't done the brick, but what I usually do is find every kind of solicitation mail and response card and advertisement I can - - from their competitors! I stuff that crapitola into their 'return response, no postage required' envelope and stick it in the mail. You're right: they have to pay for it when it comes back to them. ? ??

Tom, Check your "Declarations" Page. That lists all the individual coverages that exist on your policy. I'm the big, long-time insurance [fraud] expert and I got "handled" by my insurance company the same way. Just because I wanted the coverage and just because I asked for the coverage and just because I thought I had the coverage made no difference when it came time for a claim under the coverage. Somewhere along the line, they insist I opted out of it. Thus, no coverage and it cost me > $3,000. Of course, you can't win when it comes to a psssssing contest with your insurance carrier. Think 'Department of Insurance complaint.' Of course, the insurance company will tell you it's your fault for not double-checking before the loss. The Insurance Commissioner is there to decide where the stuff falls. Generally, there is a legal concept in contracts that the big corporation who wrote the contract is held to a higher degree of responsibility than is the poor, "unsophisticated" individual trying to do business with them. But it's still a big hurdle. Good luck! ??
