  6. Outstanding scavenging, Brad! Perfect.
  7. Harry, Grateful and happy for all you've been able to overcome so far; hopeful and prayerful for your continued improvement. Glad you're here, among friends. Wish there was more we could do for you, personally, Harry. Unfortunately, it's a long drive from Phoenix to shovel the sidewalk or help out around the house. But prayers and good wishes travel remarkable distances, my friend! Keep your inner warrior resolute and stay the course! God continue to be with you.
  8. Hoooray! Way to go, Art!
  9. Looking great, David!
  10. Fantastic models, Harry! Love them all. Also very glad to see you're up to posting now and then. Truly a holiday gift for all your friends.
  11. Excellent model, Steve.
  12. Merry Christmas, Harry. My continuing and frequent prayers are the best gift I can offer, but they are yours entirely and unconditionally. God be with you.
  13. My money and I are waiting (for finished product to see how concept translates to reality) . . .
  14. The kit: Yes. It is a '78-'79. There's a minor difference in the grille pattern between those years and I don't recall which the kit represents, but it is one or the other. Definitely not an '82 unless you are changing the grille and taillights.
  15. That's to die for. It hadda be said . . .
  16. Seriously, Chris, I'd steer clear (no pun intended) from your 2nd and 3rd ideas. It seems to me that Future and paint may be too thin to risk. Their viscosity may allow too much wicking and result in runs or blobs or seepage on your beautiful tins. Myself, I'd suggest sticking with the thicker products like Art's glue or gap-filling CA applied from the back side. An extra advantage is that a tiny bead would/could represent the formed end of the rivet. Just thinking out loud.
  17. Fascinating. Captivating. Riveting, actually.
  18. Of course, George! {And, THANK YOU for all the years you've been a guidepost of the hobby. Godspeed.}
  19. Nice job with a bad/difficult kit! And welcome to the LEO family. Good luck and Godspeed with your career.
  20. COOL! A class limited to 1969 Corvairs but you 'may enter any number of 1956 Ford Victoria models in this Class.' Who'd a thunk?
  21. Tim, Mike is tight with Greg Wann (The Master Caster), who also visits occasionally and posts more rarely. However, I'll reach out to Greg if he doesn't see this first. I used to have Mike's contact info but nearly simultaneous phone & computer meltdowns stripped me of a lot of old friends . . .
  22. God be with you, Harry. Never forget you have great friends and 'family' right here, too. Don't hesitate to lean on us.
