The instructions for this kit call for the exhaust tips and headlight buckets to be plated, however in my kit they are not. They are molded in silver. Are all that way or was the plating in my copy overlooked?

In November I celebrate the 29th anniversary of my 29th birthday. Ironically the same age that my father passed of a heart attack. Taking my health kinda seriously now, as I had one last year, and have had a total of 7 stents since then. -
