  2. Very nice you did a great job on those cab steps
  3. Frame looks nice and straight and I love your tanks
  4. They call them “Headache Racks” because back before they used ratchet straps they used chains and the Flat Bed Haulers would hang there chains and binders on these racks and would always be clanging and rattling and making noise going down the road that’s why they call them headache racks my dad was a Flat Bed Hauler for a while back in 1972
  5. Nice plumbing Pat and a good start on the rack
  6. Nice job on that grill it’s starting to look like a Pete
  7. Thanks for the complement Jim I’ll have some more updates today
  8. Thanks feels good to build one these old Titans haven’t build one in over 20 years
  9. I sold this truck to a very good friend of mine years ago and decided to see if I could get it back. He restores farm toys so Yesterday I traded some old Farm toys for this Model. When I sold it to him I had already painted the frame and cab one color. Yesterday I painted the top of the cab Mopar Stone White and also painted the engine and installed it painted the wheels sanded the tires and added them as well.
  10. Well it been almost a year since I’ve done anything to this but I did get it repainted and I ordered a hood off of eBay that didn’t fit so with lots of re working the the hood I got it as good as it’s going to get
  11. Super Finish! I like the tuck and roll on the ceiling a Classic touch you don’t see. A job well done
  12. Brian. Very nice and I like that your using my Brothers casting. I have some old narrow Pete hoods he made me in the early 80s I’ll post some day. Bill made his first Narrow Nose Pete around 1970 and still has the truck today. He use that pattern to make the Master for the hood your using now. Very cool using the 1100 Hi-rise cab for this build not to many were made I think the last was in 1976. I’ll be watching closely and thanks for mentioning Bill’s name on this he will appreciate it Bill’s been through a lot the last couple years he lost a step daughter and he battled kidney cancer and won and several back surgeries. He’s doing very well now and still build awesome trucks.
  13. Ben. That’s looking great! I need to get back on mine.
  14. That paint job with the white top could almost pass as a Little Window Pete

  16. Very nice starting to look like a truck
