  1. I can't remember I will check it out and send you a pic of it when I get home
  2. This is how I done mine I used the testors liquid glue in the red and black bottle it kinda melts the plastic a little to give you a good weld. I glued the right side first held in place and adjusted it and then I glued the left side adjusted it and I had no problems but sand edges a little bit before you glue all the pieces together I never used any body filler I will show you a picture of the cab done last year when I get home today sometime here's a pic of the single drive I did when I was 16 years old I'm 48 years old now I still have this truck hope this helps
  3. I've built both for many years I would say the Freightliner is easier after you get pass the cab. I never had a issue with that either. The Pete on the other hand always had problems with the cab and the front wheels never looked right to me. The best way to mount the cab is like my brother Bill showed me glue the hinges to the bumper first and glue them to the cab set the cab where you want it and glue the bumper to the frame forget the cereal bowel method they show you that's a nightmare that's just my opinion on the two kits.
  4. Terry those are nice, great work. If you ever cast them up and want to sell any I would buy a set or 2 from you. I think they would sell good.
  5. Nice AP I seen it on Terry's thread thanks for posting it here like to see you guys AC Mack projects I hope to have some more done next week on mine
  6. Thanks guys for posting your AC Mack I really enjoy looking at them. I don't mine terry if you post more pics here on my thread I'm sure all of us would enjoy seeing your nice work. Here's some pics with the dump bed on it I really don't like the way it fits. The radiator guard bar I use a piece a stir stick for it instead of the simulated steel plastic one. I've seen them with both.
  7. Terry Ok I will check it out. I got some more work done on the AC today. This kit is so old and the plastic is very briddle the frame another parts was warped really bad it was a challenge to get it all to fit right. I think I might keep the bed stationary and put a higher sub frame on it.
  8. Terry thanks for getting that combination together absolutely beautiful! Have you shown Dave? I hope you didn't care I save this picture. 9. Terry I know the feeling about the casting part those wheels are going to look good. What are you waiting for pull that thing out and start building! Your truck reminds me of this one. By the way is that it a.k Mack winch truck in the background of your picture? Dave is always helpful and willing to give you pointers.
  10. Terry thanks your truck looks good as well I like the Cab Shield. Dave (AITM) has been a lot of help with the parts for the build of this truck. I've built many in 1/87 Scale HO and always wanted to try one of these monogram kits. Here's some pics of Dave's and one I found on the net. The Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey and the one behind the glass is Dave's the other one is unknown. Hope to see some progress pics on yours soon.
  11. No, but I will raise the front wheels a little higher for a more "Beefy" look. The wheels and tires are just a mock up for now they are not glued on yet I have some more work to do before I glue them.
