  1. Thanks, folks! I appreciate the comments. The Model T was a little finicky to build....it had a couple warped parts in the box. The garage was a fun project.
  2. A wide variety of great looking builds!! I'm curious about the brown one, too......and the 4th one (green).
  3. Great looking insides! I like the Panama hat!!
  4. Thank you, sir! I have three more that were close to completion, but it just didn't happen! LoL
  5. And that's for one you can actually sit in!! LoL
  6. Well, thanks, guys! The Barracuda is painted with TESTORS color change paint. I tried to upload a video of it spinning on a turntable, but couldn't figure out how to do that. The Z-car was a fun build. The hood is covered with a carbon fiber decal material. Took a bit of solution to get that to lay right! LoL. The MINIONS had been laying around in the way for a time in the hobby room, so while I was building the ESTES garage kit, I decided I'd toss them in for a bit of comic relief!
  7. Looks great! And, you're right to take your time. Also, try to use a light touch with the trimming utensil! They have a tendency to wander out of bounds, even on a straight piece of trim!
  8. Very tidy build! I've seen a few good looking SS cars through the years, real ones, but none of them were as cool as this concept! Well done!
  9. Mighty fine engine color!
  10. I managed to get a half dozen of the little fellas (1/24 and 1/25 scale) completed for 2019. Also, a little extra as shown at the bottom to use for display purposes: REVELL 1970 Datsun 240-Z: AMT 1962 Pontiac Catalina Custom (pre-painted version): AMT 1966 Plymouth Barracuda (Holy Mackeral version): REVELL 1980 JEEP Honcho: AMT 1949 Mercury Custom: AMT 1923 Ford Model T Coke Delivery: MINION'S GARAGE:
  11. If I could build them like that, two would be fine with me! Great results on both of these, and I'm looking forward to the end result of the '68 4-4-2 build, also!!
  12. Mrs. Bucky would say, "Just because your cronies do it, you think you're supposed to?" LoL
  13. Are those glue-bombs, or left over AMT custom parts? LoL
  14. Long ago, I attached shelves to the walls in the hobby room. I have the stash of kits grouped by manufacturer, such as AMC, Dodge, Ford, Buick, etc. Within those groups are sections of sub-groups, like Chargers, Mustangs, Corvettes, Impalas, Ford pickups, and so on. Helps me keep it straight in my own head! LoL I have all of them listed on spreadsheets on the computer, in case something bad happens.
  15. It must happen more than we think. I purchased a factory sealed AMT 1992 Ford Flareside pickup kit at a hobby shop when those kits first came out, and the chrome was missing from that one, too.
  16. There was also a sealed MPC '68 Impala kit that went for over $480.
  17. I built the '63 Studebaker Avanti from the old Prestige kit, and it had that tree full of parts, too.
  18. I actually got this one! LoL
