Cool working door. I will have to remember to check out the WIP! Very nice looking van. It is sad that more of the interior isn’t visible. -

Another beautiful build! -
Nice! These kits are hard to come by. I wouldn’t mind owning the entire series myself. I only have the Valiant and Lancer, neither one built yet. ?

Nicely done restoration. This was one of the first models I ever built. Mine never looked so good!

I am late to the party but I am really intrigued by your seat treatment. I have a project that will require some modifications on its seats and I may have to try your method! Great job on the work you’ve done! -
Thanks for the offer. It will be quite a while if at all that I get around to such an involved project. And albeit a snap kit, I’ve already built the 2 Caravans and have way too many other subjects I’m working on. To do a Little Red Wagon version would require a whole different chassis. I would probably use a modified Little Red Wagon kit to start but I would have to do a lot of research and decide if it would be contemporary to the age of the Caravan (unless I did a pure fantasy build with whatever parts that fit/work.) I have not followed any form of auto racing in years so I have not a clue as to what’s what. It would be a cool build for sure! Thanks again for your interest and offer!

That’s cool! I was thinking of a build like this too. Would you use the old 426 Hemi or something more contemporary? The A100 was definitely an inspiration & it is painted red as a nod to the Little Red Wagon. I have also considered a funny car using the van body just because I think it would look cool with a blower peeking out of a notch in the windshield and hood! Your pic is cool! Thank you!

Talk about synchronicity! I had just finished discussing steak with my gf when your post arrived. A pic of my granddaughter arrived within minutes! Well didn’t want to step on toes of Chevy or Ford so CaraRam won out. I figured since I modified the end part of the Caravan I would just modify the end part of the name Caravan?? Perhaps the name El Carnivore, or Caravore(?) for a fire breathing drag Caravan that eats its competition! I need a steak now…

Thanks for the compliments! I have owned 3 Mopar minivans for my daily driver for 25+years. I knew they were cool even way back then! ? They handle well even with a load. The CaraRam would appear to be more aerodynamic than a conventional pickup and the load would have a lower center of gravity. Beefing up the suspension would be a plus. ?
