  1. Good looking Duster! The color and finished are fantastic! I would like to see a Dodge version, too.
  2. They are all very nice, but no hoods? I’m liking the brass era cars more all the time!
  3. I had been concerned about Tom for quite a while too and just found this thread. I had thought of even sending him a pm. I’m glad to hear he’s alive and kickin’! Tom, you’ve been much missed and hope you can find some time to share with us here.
  4. Very interesting. I like the rear fenders.
  5. Cool working door. I will have to remember to check out the WIP! Very nice looking van. It is sad that more of the interior isn’t visible.
  6. Another beautiful build!
  7. Nice! These kits are hard to come by. I wouldn’t mind owning the entire series myself. I only have the Valiant and Lancer, neither one built yet. ?
  8. BTW my current every day driver is a 2006 Town & Country. A Caravan with a different name ?
  9. Another beautiful restoration!
  10. Beautiful paint!
  11. Nicely done restoration. This was one of the first models I ever built. Mine never looked so good!
  12. Great weathering! Wish I could do that!
  13. You did a great job on this. I’ve never reworked a die cast but seems like it would be a tougher medium to work with.
  14. I am late to the party but I am really intrigued by your seat treatment. I have a project that will require some modifications on its seats and I may have to try your method! Great job on the work you’ve done!
  15. Lindberg made the 1995 Grand Caravan. The 1st issue is copyrighted 1996 and the police version in 1998. I used the back of the cab, box, tailgate and rear fascia(?) from the Ram VTS. Used a portion of a 2nd box to extend the box to the length of the Caravan body.
  16. There were 2 issues of the 1995 Grand Caravan. The 1st is copyrighted 1996 and the police version in 1998.
  17. Thanks for the offer. It will be quite a while if at all that I get around to such an involved project. And albeit a snap kit, I’ve already built the 2 Caravans and have way too many other subjects I’m working on. To do a Little Red Wagon version would require a whole different chassis. I would probably use a modified Little Red Wagon kit to start but I would have to do a lot of research and decide if it would be contemporary to the age of the Caravan (unless I did a pure fantasy build with whatever parts that fit/work.) I have not followed any form of auto racing in years so I have not a clue as to what’s what. It would be a cool build for sure! Thanks again for your interest and offer!
  18. That’s cool! I was thinking of a build like this too. Would you use the old 426 Hemi or something more contemporary? The A100 was definitely an inspiration & it is painted red as a nod to the Little Red Wagon. I have also considered a funny car using the van body just because I think it would look cool with a blower peeking out of a notch in the windshield and hood! Your pic is cool! Thank you!
  19. Grocery getter!?! It’s a fire breathing drag racer! ? Thanks for the compliment!
  20. Thank you! There is a resemblance but the CaraRam would have a larger bed/payload
  21. Talk about synchronicity! I had just finished discussing steak with my gf when your post arrived. A pic of my granddaughter arrived within minutes! Well didn’t want to step on toes of Chevy or Ford so CaraRam won out. I figured since I modified the end part of the Caravan I would just modify the end part of the name Caravan?? Perhaps the name El Carnivore, or Caravore(?) for a fire breathing drag Caravan that eats its competition! I need a steak now…
