  1. Casey is correct. I have ordered the grille from Jeff and it is a nice piece. Though the one he posted in the photo is not close to mine. His looks like the early Cheyenne grilles, where as the one I purchased is the later (92+?) W/T grille.
  2. That vacuum-forming was very nicely done. I'll have to remember that.
  3. 5 spoke vote for me as well!
  4. It's a decent kit with a bit of work, and yours is turning out very well. I have 2. One is 95% done but I smeared the the chrome pen and haven't touched it since. The other is still in the box. GREAT work!!!
  5. Nicely done! Gray one is my favorite as well.
  6. Oh goodness that Lotus Elan is beautiful!
  7. Nicely done! That cougar is something special!

    2018 builds

Ahh some of the photos are out of order, darn thing. But you get the idea!

    2018 builds

Only 3 completed this year, but I enjoyed building them. 2 MOPARS and 1 Ford! Which is odd for me because I am mostly a GM guy. Thank you for looking. Heres to building double what I did this year in 2019! Vanishing Point Challenger Hemi Cuda 1956 Ford F-100
  10. All of them, very nice. I enjoyed the convertible Camaro the most.
  11. This is what I plan on doing for my 4wd conversion. I've never seen a V-Drive system in person, they are so different and unique that I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to build it. It is estimated that 1600 Ford/GM vans received this treatment from the factory. It certainly is crazy looking, but the science behind it is neat. I'll also be giving mine a news van style livery. So that maybe it will fly a little under the radar to the local authorities. But I have some other ideas also if that one doesn't pan out. http://www.curbsideclassic.com/blog/cc-outtake-1980-dana-v-drive-4wd-gmc-school-van-a-rarity-indeed/ The link above has more photos and info for those interested.
  12. Looks like a challenge! Those old Revell kits are a lot of fun though.
  13. Put me down with the 72 Chevy G30!! I’ll be doing mine as a news van with a slight twist to it.. I'm hoping to make this into a 4x4 by way of the Dana V-drive system. Can’t wait!
  14. Remarkable. The craftsmanship that went into the scratch built portions was amazing. The 3D parts were also remarkable. Very talented.
  15. That is why here in IL during the cooler months I switch to air brush use mostly. Funny how something as simple as the weather will goof up a paint job. There is a Centennial edition that is around me and it is a sharp truck. You have good taste!
  16. Just received my van kit in the mail, can't wait to share my ideas with everyone.
  17. I like it! Really looks great. Jimmy plans on casting it?
  18. The turn of the century Silverados and Sierras are some of my favorite trucks. Looking good and welcome back! That LS looks good, I might need to get some of these kits soon..
  19. I just now saw this thread, but am impressed by the work. That rear end looks great! And that Impala will look good with all the custom bits. You could also post your build progress in the "on the workbench" topic page, and include a link to these neat 3D printed goodies. Take care.
  20. That interior is terrific. So is the whole truck. Beautiful.
  21. I think I stumbled upon this resin today from a store. Looks like a quality piece. You will do well!
  22. Thank you! I will check there, didn’t even think about them. Good call.
  23. Anyone know of a good supplier for modern street tires? Not looking to get Pegasus or anything like that, as I haven’t been impressed. It doesn’t look like the AMT parts packs feature newer tires. Wanting to do a resto-mod and updated rubber is a must.
  24. I cannot remember for sure. Usually I just eyeball things, since sometimes taking the actual thing and scaling it down doesn’t always create the best results.
  25. Looking excellent. Such great bodywork.
