  1. You've done a fine job on this Belvedere! Now I have to have this kit in my stash after seeing yours!
  2. Really sharp Road Runner! I like how the chassis turned out using the overspray technique.
  3. David, Line-OTape makes a 1/64 masking(not pinstriping) tape. #LNO 016402. I found it at Red Frog Hobbies. Is this of any help?
  4. Lookin' good, KJ. Keeping my eye on this!
  5. That Shelby is my favorite, but all are great!
  6. I recently discovered Xacto offers the #11 blade in something called the Z-series. The blade edge is zirconium nitride coated. Xacto describes it as their sharpest blade ever. I might try some for foiling work. I need any edge I can get when it comes to foil.
  7. Great! May we see some engine/chassis pics?
  8. I think this is cool and unusual. I must have one!
  9. The stance is just perfect, to my eye. You've made a fine representation of the original!
  10. Cool! I think I have a couple cans of that color in my paint stash. I think Duplicolor paints work well on models.
  11. David, I really appreciate the in depth answer. I often wondered how styrene/MEK worked. Thanks!
  12. I really like the color! Good choice!
  13. Nice work, David! What is the SB you're using for filler? Looks smooth and easy to work with.
  14. Quality over quantity! Each car is a gem in itself. That's three more built than I have for the last ten years, to say nothing of 2016!
  15. Jon, In the opening of the video posted by Ace, a book is shown. "We Were the Ramchargers" by Dave Strickler appears to be a good info reference. There appears to be some tribute cars to these old racers, so compare and contrast details if you are going for accuracy. Cars get updated and personalized for many reasons, but aren't in "as raced" trim from 1964.
  16. Really sharp! Good job on the details.
  17. Superb vehicles! That Eldo is just stellar as well!
  18. Thanks for that link, Ray. It helped me with a Ford engine of mine.
  19. I've seen the 64 Johan Max Wedge headers sold in resin and billed as "Ultra Rare". Hart's Parts resin has 'em.
  20. Very well done and unique! Nice attention to detail. The wheels and tires are totally cool!
  21. Terry- Great looking trucks! Thanks for posting the pics. KJ and Terry- I'd like both your opinions on a few things please. *361 trucks have a center hinged hood. What is the hood like on the A.I.T. kits? I'd like to have an opening hood. *Is a 12V Detroit going to fit under the hood? Should I aim for an 8V instead? *I'd like to use dual stacks on the Brockway. I assume duals are appropriate for a V style engine? Where should I search for usable stacks (kit or aftermarket)? Thanks guys, I appreciate your input!
  22. Very well done! Exceptional photography also.
  23. The AMT GTX/SuperBee instructions that direct the builder to glue a Road Runner "beep" horn to the firewall as a wiper motor. The actual wiper motor is on the chrome tree. Blank sidewall tires really leave me frustrated as well.
  24. Jim and Terry - Thank you both for the responses, I appreciate it! Terry - I believe i will add a Diamond Reo to my stash, based on your advice. I'd like to use heavy duty spokes (Reyco?) and floats from Mo'luminum on the steers. They offer a 12 cylinder Detroit as well. Thanks for your kind offer of help and info also.
