  1. Perhaps The Ramchargers' High n Mighty Plymouth? Build it stock, custom, gasser, moonshine runner... Moebius has early Hemi engine tooling already...
  2. Your Road Runner turned out very well! These weren't the best cars, but '76 to '78 f-bodies could still be had with a v8/4-speed combo. That can't be said of most cars of the day.
  3. That's a fine looking GTX! It's spotless and the stance is dead-on.
  4. Just concluded a trade with vintagedragcrazy(Vince Nelson) Vince answered messages promptly and shipped the item on time. I got a nice kit in trade. Vince is a flat-out nice guy to deal with! Thanks Vince.
  5. In the area I live in, muscle-era Mopars are and have always been a rarity. When I see one today I get the same thrill I did when I was a kid. It never gets old.
  6. Mediatrans65 is still at it as of this posting. Now he has what looks like copies of Scenes Unlimited valve covers.
  7. Jim, I use Trim brand nail boards for roughing/large areas. The grit sizes seem accurate to me. I also use Flex-I-File tapered sanding sticks for tighter areas. Going to try these when I buy sticks again- Hat tip to Pete J. for the info http://micro-surface.com/index.php/products-by-type/dual-angle-detailing-files.html
  8. Thanks Casey!
  9. You made the GTX look bad to make it look good. I like the twisted logic of that
  10. Casey, are the t-tops molded open on this kit? Or must they be cut out as with some of the other MPC kits? I was never a fan of t-tops on full-scale cars, and don't prefer them on my models either.
  11. Ride along with the Late Ken Montgomery in his '65 Hemi Belvedere.
  12. I remember a science-fiction movie called "The Hidden" I believe it had a good chase scene involving a red Ferrari. It's been decades since I've seen the film. I also can't find a video clip online either. Does anyone remember the chase scene?
  13. I'm glad you mentioned this one.My Mom introduced me to Duel and my Dad did the same for Bullitt. I can enjoy these movies and have good memories of my parents, too. That Pete is just so menacing and sinister looking. Whoever built it for the movie did a first rate job.
  14. Your truck is really well done. I have quite a soft spot for work trucks. Great engine compartment and Bilstein shocks as well.
  15. I recommend having a good quality tweezers for your foil work. A large portion of my frustration went away once I got a better tweezers. I find myself holding my breath when I'm positioning a piece of foil, as my face is extremely close to what I'm working on. This way I avoid blowing the delicate foil around, making positioning easier. Successes will build your confidence level as you improve.
  16. Best wishes to you, Harry! So many here are anticipating your return to the forum.
  17. Superb job! Enjoyed the build thread photos as well. Nice work bringing the body into such fine shape.
  18. I does look very good. I'm wondering if a Revell chassis from a glue kit would fit under the body? I can never leave well enough alone even when a kit looks good.
  19. Yes! I remember Mulderig now. Didn't he bust Popeye's chops throughout the film, only to be mistakenly shot by him at the end? I think it's fair to call Bill Hickman a movie icon.
  20. Thanks for the offer Paul. I did message Ron about the manifold issue, Let me see how everything shakes out there first.
  21. Nice! Gonna get me some on my next trip to Walmart. That Krylon Matte clear is pretty good stuff too. Thanks Snake!
  22. I have tried brush painting with these paints with limited success. I don't own an airbrush, but I have seen builders get very good results airbrushing these paints.
  23. That Chevelle is immaculate! The engine alone is exemplary, as is everything else.
  24. Add one more to the Detroit-powered Brockway fan club! This is looking great!
  25. No Worries David. Steve is a standup guy and he makes excellent products. I hope he is able to resume business in 2018.
