Some of our grinding machines had phenolic resin/linen spur gears as part of their gearboxes. We replaced them with steel ones, but I have a couple in a drawer at work as conversation pieces.
What is the proper color for the "aprons" on the very rear and front of this chassis?
The areas in question are pointed out with white arrows. Ignore the white triangle on the gas tank.
Thanks!
I know what you're saying! I had a '72 Charger, 440/4spd. That thing was a leg-breaker! It had those smallish, rounded E-body style pedals, too. Made it hard to get a foothold to push the clutch in. Easy to sidestep on the launch, though!
My brother has a '16 Scat Pack Challenger with a manual trans. The clutch pedal is so light, I stalled it the first time I drove it. Hard to believe that clutch is holding back 485 hp
As would I. I'd love to buy the 21st century equivalent of the '68 Road Runner. Maximum performance in a no-frills package is what I want in a car (that I don't drive daily). V8 trucks are fun, but there's too much under/oversteer when a truck is pushed, for my performance-driving taste.
Hmm.... The thread shows up in a google search, but the forum gives an error code when following the link here. I remember that thread, I'm puzzled by it's disappearance.
Try this one... "Well, I say whatever I want to, don't pay no attention to grammar" "Got a big long middle finger, shaped just like a ball pein hammer"
Which issues of the '49 Ford have the parts to build the car shown on this box art? Nostalgia prompts me to re-create the Ford I built forty years ago.
