  1. I'll keep my fingers crossed in hopes that it works out!
  2. I'd be interested to see if the shop can do that. I thought the dash roll-down procedure was required for upper hinge replacement. I have a '98 Dakota service manual. The dash roll-down procedure is in there should you get stuck.
  3. This thing is going to fight you the whole way, it seems! Still pulling for you Jeremy! There are several threads and tutorials on darkening panel lines here on the forum. I found some good info using the Google site search method.
  4. The Daisy mags from the AMT '63 Impala are all four the same depth. I can't tell for certain the depth of the Daisy mags in the original photo. Two mags are flat on the back side. The two other mags have a long axle stub on the back in the old AMT style. I tried mightily to take photos, but every one was too blurry to be of any help.
  5. Yes! My lawn is coming along nicely, but it's too cool and damp to paint model car bodies.
  6. My wood splitting tools seem to have gotten heavier since I used them last fall. Has gravity somehow gotten stronger in 2017?
  7. I received my order today, Randy! Thank you for the fantastic service! I highly recommend ordering from Model Builders' Warehouse. The Clearly Scale engines I ordered are downright beautiful. Well cast and extremely smooth. Excellent level of detail on the engines. Thank You Randy and Jeremy!
  8. I knew I needed that Power Wagon already. Now that I've seen the photo, I know how badly I need it
  9. Got behind this vehicle yesterday morning (internet photo).
  10. I think your Nova looks great! A well done model is never mediocre in my opinion.
  11. Ever popular term on the auction site.
  12. Order placed! Fast and easy. Thanks for the update Randy.
  13. Just concluded another awesome trade with vintagedragcrazy (Vince Nelson). I'm extremely pleased with what I received, some great hard to find parts. Vince is trustworthy and easy to deal with as well. Thanks Vince!
  14. Thanks David! Now I know what to look for in advance. Seems some chassis mock up is required to sort things out.
  15. Hi David, Would you explain the suspension alignment issues with the '66 Impala? I hope to build one sometime in the future. I'd appreciate the the info greatly.
  16. Thought I'd give this thread a bump, due to the great photos here.
  17. Thanks for the photos John. Shows me some areas of the engine/transaxle I haven't seen in 1:1 (the engine from the Toro kit is a glue lump).
  18. Stellar engine bay! I can't recall ever seeing a flathead look so good.
  19. More approval and encouragement from me as well, TJ. Of course I also have two of these conversions to do. A '72 and a '73-4 are in the wings. Lots of good will is urging you on
  20. That I can shrug off. It's the totally uncalled for threats directed at the management that irk me. Those really spoil the atmosphere here.
  21. You're making good progress! Keep us updated.
  22. My Dad owned a '72 Toro when I was a kid. I hope to replicate that car in scale.
  23. Thanks for the info and the photos, Steve. I really appreciate them. The model is gorgeous. I like what you did with it!
  24. Hello and thanks for reading. Picked up a JoHan '72 Olds Toronado rebuilder on ebay. It's going to need an engine, suspension parts and wheels. The hub caps are kit specific, that much I know. How much of this kit is interchangeable with earlier JoHan Toros and earlier/later Eldorados? Thanks!
