Like I said before, this was a quick build just to see how everything went together. Of course, I had to throw in a different engine so it wouldn't look like every other '32 sedan being built from the box. I like the paint,but the camera picks up every flake in the paint - your eyes just see metallic blue.
Couple of building tips:
1 - If you choose to use the cowl lights, there simply is not enough surface area on the tiny stalks for even the strongest CA glue to hold them in place. . I carefully removed the stalks and drilled very small holes in the light buckets and the cowl and mounted them with a thin wire.
2 - I found that if you glue the firewall in place, early in the build, before painting, it is ALMOST impossible to put the assembled interior into the body later. I always do this on the roadsters and coupes (This is my 20th completed Revell '32), but on the sedan, it is better to install the completed interior, then carefully glue in the firewall.
Well, back to the other projects I had going on.
