  1. Tomorrow, Bill will be using the hair from the back of a common house fly to fashion a filament for inside the 25th scale tailight bulb.
  2. Actually, Bill built that '56 Chevy in early 2005. We'll have to let the courts make a ruling on this. LOL. I've seen Chopper's beautuful roadster in the pic many times. In fact, that's my red '57 Ford custom in the backround. It's always an "excellent adventure" when Bill & Ted are displaying their amazing customs.
  3. In a late-breaking report, we've received word that Mr. Bill Stillwagon is considering legal action against Mr. Ted Lear for using his ideas, paint color and interior design on his latest custom. Stay tuned to Model Cars Magazine forum for additional updates. For those of you who may have traded in your sense of humor on a wife, kids and a minivan, the above is JUST A JOKE. Bill Stillwagon and Chopper are great friends. CHOPPER - your Buick is excellent!!!!!
  4. The original "Little T" dates back to 1964. The trailer was added to the kit in 1975.
  5. Replicas & Miniatures Co. of Md. Order # B-11, 1/25th GO KART KIT - 46 Pieces,,,,$44.00 410-768-3648 replmincomd@aol.com
  6. I just saw that I've become an Ohanna,,,,or an Oh Suzanna,,,,,or something. Is there a cure for this?
  7. Bring em on, Albert. A model car is a model car. (One of my more profound statements!) I have that exact same Chevy convertible by Welly. I plan to strip it, paint it red, remove SOME of the chrome doodads, drop it down, and do a tuck&roll interior,,,,,,,,,,,,,,SOME DAY.
  8. Because then it wouldn't be any different from the next 500 you see built. I'm sure I'll use the flathead engines in several more builds but it would just kill me to actually build a car using only the parts that came in THAT box.
  9. Thanks guys, for saving me the time of having to answer the "lowering question" The 265 is the Revell '55 / '56 engine and has a top mount oil filter in the kits.
  10. Just wanted to knock one of these out quickly to see how everything looked and fit. Except for the small block 265 Chevy, this will be pretty much out of the box. Paint is Duplicolor blue Metalspecks - kind of an in-scale metalflake. I masked off the white plastic roof insert before any primer or paint and it sure looks like a white vinyl insert to me. Front and rear suspension has been lowered as on all of the Revell '32's I've built. Interior is fairly plain and I'm going to leave it like that. I'm having fun with this one. It should be done within another week.
  11. While this one part of your question may have been true about 20-25 years ago, it SHOULDN'T be part of working with resin products today. There are several top quality aftermarket people who produce resin products for the model car hobby who would not dream of selling items with pin holes or flaws of any kind. Perhaps you need to check out some vendors, other than the ones you buy from now. With the very large aftermarket we enjoy today, there is no need to purchase inferior products.
  12. If Revell doesn't do a Yenko, just save a decal sheet from the Revell '69 Yenko Camaro. The decals will be the same for both cars
  13. Thanks Dan for the great pics. I put my meeting pics on several other forums,,,,,no point in using up bandwidth here for the same pics.
  14. Welcome to the forum. I just passed 58 a couple of hours ago. All ya need are bigger glasses.
  15. Yes I did,,,otherwise there would be no point to cast the kit panels. The original Revell pieces also had NO front door line at all.
  16. Chopped Merc convertible, with full fade fender line, tailight holes filled, vent windows, interior side panels, dog legs, convertible boot, arm rests and window cranks and Carson style top. This is going to Reps & Mins, but it will be a little while before he can get this out. Norm is fanatical (as he should be) about getting orders filled and sent to customers. So he has a little backlog due to the holidays and his priority is his excellent customer service before starting a new project.
  17. My wife blocked all the porn sites so I come here,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but I pretend you're all naked.
  18. The pics are too small for those of us who are way way way over 30
  19. It's real,,,,,,,,,,AND, it's real ugly!
  20. Fantastic build! One of the best late-model builds I've ever seen.
  21. Maybe my favorite is this one, but I'm not 100% sure.
  22. Reps & Mins make these Buick headlights mastered by Rik Hoving, HOWEVER, I used ones from The Modelhaus, mostly because I've had them for many years.
  23. HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM ME AND THE ENTIRE M.A.M.A. CLUB. HAVE A GREAT '08!!!!!!
  24. These arent' "T's" but they ARE Pegasus wheels. Simply slice off the back of the wheel to whatever width you want, including the axle mounting post and sand smooth. Paint the exposed sanded plastic rim with silver, aluminum, etc. They really can't be seen, even when displaying the model on a mirror.
