  3. Also plastic electric fans are found in the AMT '34 Ford street rod kit and all of the Revell '32 Ford st. rod kits.
  4. Because NNL EAST has changed dates and venues this coming year, previous lodging and restaurant tips don't apply. Go to their website for the latest info. http://members.aol.com/nnleast2007/
  5. To all my Spanish speaking friends,,,,,,,Flees Navy Dad.
  6. Albert should win some kind of a prize. Almost 600 views and 38 replies just for announcing that he's here. Albert, you may want to consider running in the New Hampshire Primary.
  7. I'm sorry, but metallic red was not a '69 Chevelle color. Here's a link to the correct colors: http://www.tcpglobal.com/aclchip.aspx?imag...vrolet-pg01.jpg There is a substantial amount of work that has to go into an AMT '69 Chevelle to make it a Yenko. I don't know how you can possibly build 4 models in a week. Good luck. This one is Butternut Yellow.
  8. Thanks Mr. Cruz. May you also have a wonderful nondenominational, generic winter holiday
  9. As of yet, The Model Car Garage does NOT make a photoetch set for the AMT '56 Ford. They did release a set for the AMT '57 Ford last year, however.
  10. In the 70's I used to drag race my 4 cylinder Triumph Spitfire. I usually ran against a guy in an old 6 cylinder Falcon. WE RAN IN Y / STOCK !!! And I'm not kidding.
  11. This is really nice AND it's not a rat rod. Having built 19 Revell '32 Fords and used parts from several other Revell '32 Ford kits on other build, I don't think your seats are from that kit. I do like them though. Any idea where they may have come from?
  12. Lay off the blue stuff and behave yourself.
  13. It also includes 3-piece STOCK '32 Ford tailights.
  14. Welcome Albert. I knew it was just a matter of time before you got here. This is a fun place to be. If someone gets too weird and out of sorts here, they mysteriously disappear and are rumored to be spending quality time with Jimmy Hoffa.
  15. Cruz - Great pics! However, in the future, don't take PROFILE shots of the old, fat, gray-haired president. I like to pretend I am still 28 and slim and trim. Glad you had a good time and THANKS FOR THE EGGNOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (burp)
  16. Brendan - I printed your pics and gave them to Harold Bradford. HE LOVED IT!!!!! He was thrilled to see it built. He said you did an excellent job.
  17. Try The Modelhaus. He lists 1959 dog dish caps, but no picture. Don is a great guy. Email him your picture and/or give him a call to see if they are the ones that you want. Try this link: http://www.modelhaus.com/index.php?y=37&am...p;Submit=Search
  18. This is out now. The food was out. (for about 100 people) This is almost out (from Replicas & Miniatures Co. of Md.) This guy thought everything was out of sight! What a cool meeting. Click the link and enjoy. HAPPY HOLIDAYS. http://public.fotki.com/mamaprez/model-clu...eting-12152007/
  19. Our local kit distributor in Maryland tells me the new '32's are shipping this week. We should start seeing them in about 7 days. Happy Holidays.
  20. These may help. When the engine is installed in the car, you really can't see where the plug wires go. Obviously they go to the ignition module. For more pics or info, you could Google "LT5". Several sites will come up.
  21. I have copied the pics and will give them to Brad at the meeting on Saturday.
  22. Obviously, Marcos is just kidding about the P.R. eggnog, made with killer butt-kicking 151 Bacardi rum. Why , we wouldn't dream of sneaking to the back of the meeting room to slam down a couple shots of that stuff. I mean, our meetings are family-friendly events. Do you really think that we would tell the children in the room, that the older people have to go take their medicine now? And we most certainly wouldn't be consuming that stuff in the middle of the afternoon at our Christmas party! P.S. Marcos - make sure you put it in regular milk containers so no one at the community center knows we have it there. Uh,,,,,,,,,maybe that part should have been in a private message.
  23. Beautiful work. You are certainly a talented artist.
  24. I believe that was the blue and white '34 built by Ken Hamilton.
  25. While I am truly and honestly flattered that a couple of you have mentioned my name, I would like to point out a few things that Gregg asked for. He asked for your opinions of the top 50 MODELS built since about 1979, sent to him by email, with pics, references, etc. Again, I am very flattered but, frankly, there's no way in hell that any of my models could be considered "top 50", or even "top 200" for that matter. We all have favorite builders and favorite models that we have seen, but really, are these models in the same category as Gerald Wingrove, Larry Boothe, Bill Geary, Joe Cavorly, Harold Bradford, Dave Roehle, Ken Hamilton, etc. etc.? Let's try to put some serious thought into this. I'd really like to see this list develope and see what becomes of it in the magazine Okay, I'll stop wagging my finger at you like a grumpy old school teacher now.
