That's a great build! Don't see any flaws other than the headlight lenses aren't straight up and down. I like everything about it otherwise. Nice build
  11. Great interior. That color is wild! Straight out of the 70's
  12. Super clean! I like the color
  13. Taking care of some things on the body and the bed walls and tailgate are in the stripper.Should have them primered by tomorrow evening. Last few things on the chassis. I sprayed the bed the same color as the interior and used my home made BMF on the metal rails separating the simulated wood. These seats came from a die cast piece that kindly sacrificed it's life. The centers will be painted same as the interior. This is the dash I will be using. I plan on giving the steering wheel some attention. All of this came from another die cast doner. Stay Tuned...
  14. Slow going. I was looking for a decent copper paint at the auto parts store and I found some for high heat situations. For giggles I thought I'd experiment on a scrap body just in case it started to eat away at the plastic. It sprayed a little heavier than lacquer and dried just as quick. This is just one application with one round of future. I think I can work with this. Also dragged a chrome pen across the exhaust manifolds and the pipes. Stay Tuned...

  24. Still mocking things up and getting the front wheels situated. I started to think about the hood when I saw it wasn't sitting right on the body. It was warped. So I added little flame to bend it back in shape. Sitting much better now. Then I wanted to get the hood to open backwards. So today I came up with a 4 piece hinge and in under 30 minutes it was installed along with a prop rod. Next I'll be filling in the bumper slots. I want that smooth look. No bumpers on this piece. Stay Tuned...
