  2. So the fix - this is optivisor stuff - was to wind some .08 wire and clip off a small peice To slip onto each plug - I’m sacrificing scale accuracy - but now these things look like spark plugs …
  3. The sp plugs wires clip to the tip of the plugs at right angles - per the engine bay photos way back in page 1 - so to get a secure atrachment i made some plugs fr .024 alu tubes- w an RB Motion nut - so i can secure the plug wires with a rivet that slides into these “plugs” - problem is - they don’t really look like spark plugs …

  17. Youre quite good with the BMF …. Ive got to apply some to the forward frame section of my Delage - what tool(s) do you use to burnish the foil … ??
  18. The first picture is a section of the great cutaway drawing of the engine for the 1927 Delage - the engine is a straight 8 but it was designed by Lory - who refined the 2LCV engine - and it carries many of that engine’s features forward …. The second photo is from a period photo of the 2LCV engine - again fr the Borgeson book - and shows a pump that looks like the later one - although it has to collect water fr 2 pipes rather than one - because the engine is a V12 instead if a straight eight - this will do …. By the way - you’ll notice that the cutaway was done by Max Miller - Miller and Cresswell were responsible for most of the early cutaway drawings of racing cars that we all fawn over …
  19. so the water pump is hidden below the magnetos and not very visible in pictutes - when im stuck for information an a pre-war GP engine - my go-to is this great old book ..
