This was the first time that i had used pink for primer - but Tamiya has offered it for years - so they got the memo - from kit builders that built their F1 kits - and some builders on this forum have used it - makes the red pop … still need a little more paint on the fenders - and got to paint the door … by the way - the primer was rattle can and the color was air brushed …

Back fr a long slumber - the body is still Barbie pink - but not for long - trying the Tamiya flexible tape to mask the white half border over the nose - stuff bends really well - using Tamiya white and Italian red - 0010 is painted medium bright red - when Monterey featured the Barchettas years ago there was - naturally - some group shots - and you can tell that this car has a lighter shade of red paint than its more famous Lemans sister …

  7. here are two shots that i took at the Amelia concourse in 2015 the Ultimate Car Page site also has some good shots the fuel injection is exposed on the deck ... checking the MFH kit ... great looking beast

  14. RM sothebys auctioned my favorite Miller 91 fr dr a few years ago - and the auction pix are still on line - it is the yellow Perfect Circle Miller . Ill post the link if you can’t locate - mr google should help …. First saw it at Goodwood years ago - its awesome - but its a Series II fr dr with a slightly different shaped bonnett and cowl and grill height - because the supercharger is in the back of the eng block - anyway - post me and i can help you w the mods if you want to tackle it …
