  1. It is magic, I could have sworn that cage only had 2 sides a few hours ago.
  2. Outstanding build of both off them. The spyder conversion from the coupe is impressive.
  3. David, thank you for the update. I saw this car race back in the day but did not know at the time it had lightweight body panels.
  4. Super collection Jeremy, well done.
  5. Nice builds of these famous Fords. Well done. Gary
  6. Mark, I have been an admirer of your work since I saw your 1st Seven. Amazing. Oh yeah, tell your mother I said hi. Gary
  7. Thanks to all for joining me on this trip down memory lane. Here are a couple more. A '34 pickup pretty much stock. A Revell 1956 pick up. A scratch built dragster with a hand beaten copper body.
  8. These builds were all done from original kits back in the day and I am lucky to still have them today. All were AMT kits I believe. The 1959 Mercury is my earliest surviving model and was originally built with lots of decals but latter brush painted, could not do that again. Thee '32 Ford roadster was inspired by a Hot Rod Magazine feature article I am sure. The '32 Ford coupe was my first attempt at a chopped top. The '32 Ford Highboy has always been a favorite of mine. The 1950 custom coupe is one of my rare customs. Even had an opening driver's door. The Model T rear engine dragster was a bit of a challenge to get into and out of I imagine. The 1940 coupe was a fun project at the time. The T Bucket was based upon a Hot Rod Magazine feature on a car called Tweedy Pie.
  9. Outstanding craftsmanship!
  10. Art, Impressive work. I have a soft spot for the Willys/Jeep with a CJ in the driveway and an Italeri fire jeep in the stash. Gary
  11. I like your build of this kit and the comparison photo is interesting too. I never would have thought to line up the tire logos, nice touch.
  12. JC, Let me try this again with the color photos. Gary Ford_Falcon_Sprint_1967_#33_MidOhio_Johnson.bmp
  13. Well that was dumb on my part. Sorry guys for the duplicate pictures.
  14. This is the only color photo I have and I hope it helps.
  15. Wonderful subjects and a marvelous job right down to the authentic details. Congratulations on your perseverance to see it through to the end.
