  1. I've ordered once, relatively quick delivery, lots of interesting parts like 'turbo charged DOHC 4-cyl. engine. They are good IMO.
  2. I like the design of a 2 piece wheel so the center can be painted separately. I am interested in wheels/tires that would be authentic for "sports car racers". Also, tall, narrow tires for salt-flat racers.
  3. The aftermarket company in Maryland, "Replicas and Miniatures" has Weber carbs. Part no. P-11A. I guess they can be used as either downdraft or sidedraft. They were $8.00.
  4. I'm primarily interested in the wheels and tires and any new parts in this reissue. Overall, is it an OK kit? Thanks
  5. I have a lot to trade and I am desperate for these. I bought a kit (factory sealed) with bad decals. Thanks.
  6. Just out of curiosity, Brian, they did make a model of the Grand National? I wonder how much they go for now? But I think I'll go for the NASCAR version. Thanks.
  7. I just bought the Valvoline Regal online for about $21. Thanks everybody. Jeff
  8. I have an ebay account. Do I go to model car kits? Used and new? Probably somebody out there can steer me ' right'. Thanks
  9. Thanks Ace-gg. I'd prefer the Mountain Dew or the Valvoline. And thanks Skylar for anything you can do.
  10. I don't know exactly what years Buick made this body style. Has to be a Buick. Can anyone recommend a specific kit? Thanks
  11. I agree, Ace-Garage guy. The 330 P4, isn't this the Ferrari the GT40 defeated at LeMans? But, yes, it is still the most beautiful race car ever, even compared to the Lola T 70.
  12. My cousin had a 1980 Regal, beautiful car, and I would like to model it. I am thinking maybe a NASCAR kit. Of course it doesn't have to be a 1980, just one with a similar body style. Also, I'm not exactly sure how to find kits on ebay. I guess go to 'scale model car kits" and then search for this Buick kit. However, if anyone on this forum has a good one to 'trade for', that would be great, I will get it from you. Thanks.
  13. 2 beautiful builds. I'm glad you posted the photos; really enjoyed them.
  14. I hate to be a Negative Ninny, but I do believe a Blower Bentley never won a race. But, yes, Bentley dominated Le Mans for the years '28 to '32. But guess what, I just got this same kit from Hobbylinc 3 days ago! And in addition: One of the model car magazines did a build-up of either the 1/12 kit or the 1/124 kit, I forget which one. I do not know if this was helpful but I hope so.
  15. I for one am very interested in your Grand Am body. Was it made for just 1 year? My friend had one. What a beautiful car.
  16. I am buying this kit mail order for $29.00. Have there been any build-ups in any of the model-car magazines of this kit? Is this kit considered to be a difficult build? Any tips?
  17. Was this kit in 1/24th? Thanks
  18. I built the Monogram 300SLR, and it looks like it has finer tubing than this great new kit. ( For what it is worth.)
  19. I wonder how the Monogram 300SLR tube chassis compares with this new one?
  20. Yeah, hi Draggon; I was asking about these fender - flares. Are they mostly for small diam. wheels, like 13" or 14" ? Could they be used on a Trans-Am type race car?
  21. Hi Erik. Yes I too am interested in your RR Merlin. I happen to have this engine from Alan Raab at "Ma's Resin". At one time, on his online catalog, he also offered a Packard V12 Merlin, but I was unable to get that one. I could take some photos of it, but it is still in the wrapping. Both of these resin engines looked quite different from each other, I thought.
