  1. After looking at the available kit options I'm inclined to just buy one from Texas 3d Customs. It's incredibly detailed and the price is very reasonable.
  2. Sorry, I didn't see the reply until now. If you still need the parts, PM me. I can print some copies of the parts I made for the build.
  3. After a long time on the shelf of doom, it's back on the bench. I had to make some compromises. The a-pillar on the Lindberg kit has more rake than the 1:1, causing the roof and window openings to be smaller. I didn't notice this until it was too late to correct. Notice that the door seam between the doors now runs straight down from the front of the b-pillar, as opposed to the rear of the b-pillar on the 1:1. I had to do this because the rear doors looked too small otherwise. The second photo shows a comparison with the 1:1. Sorry for the sideways image. I couldn't find a way to rotate it. Anyways, it's time to finish it up and move on.
  4. I have the bumpers. No glass though.
  5. Nicely done!
  6. Beautiful!
  7. I have a GSX somewhere, I'll check it out although 1:24 may be too big. It occurred to me that the MPC Raiders Coach would have it too. I checked a built-up model but the tranny has no detail whatsoever.
  8. Are there any kits that have a TH400 transmission? Preferably BOP bolt pattern, but I can work with anything.
  9. Interested in the Pontiac engine and the Belvedere. I'll PM you with a list of potential trades.
  10. Nicely done. It looks like you could hop in and drive it!
  11. Since you're not allowed to do any kit bashing, I think you're stuck with it. It looks almost exactly like the old Johan B-body firewall. I wonder if the kit is based on a Johan mold. Anyways, if you remove the OOB stipulation, I would use a Revell firewall like Steve suggested.
  12. Yes, I have the print file for the scoop and can make you one. PM me and we'll get it done.
  13. Very cool. I love the first generation Hemi and the Cragars.
  14. Beautiful!
  15. Very sharp build. Nicely done!
  16. I'm looking for a set of 4 white wall tires like this one. 5/8" ID and approximately 3/8" width. Tire brand is not important. I have many tires I can trade. Thanks.
  17. That workbench photo looks like you have really cornered the market on top chops!
  18. Beautiful. Great attention to detail. I had a hard time believing it was a model and not the real thing.
  19. Super clean build. Very nice!
  20. Very nice! Love them E-bodies.
  21. It would almost certainly be more fuel efficient. The main reason the auto makers went to fuel injection was to maximize fuel efficiency and emissions. An additional benefit is that it is much more driver friendly than a carburetor. Just turn the key and go. FI might or might not be faster. Several episodes of Engine Masters have dealt with the issue of carbs vs. fuel injection and have shown that a properly adjusted carburetor makes just as much horsepower as fuel injection, as long as it is not restricting air flow. The 6-pack had really good air flow. If I remember correctly it was like 1350 cfm.
  22. Beautiful build!
  23. It looks fantastic. Great job!
  24. Thanks everyone!
