  1. That’s awesome. Did ya see him? He just went sailing right out there! Love that movie
  2. How’s the ‘Cuda progressing? Look forward to the next update!
  3. Some more progress, as some of you probably noticed in the engine shots at least, a few pieces weren’t assembled in the correct places or around the wrong way. Anyway, I’m getting there!
  4. It’s had more hits than Elvis I’m afraid it’ll fall right apart if I try to restore it, plus yeah the sentimental reasons too. worried those tyres are going to ruin the rest of it though.
  5. Here you go Jose, hope these help. I hadn’t noticed the writing in my Grandad’s hand on the end of the box. I’m guessing if the GT ended up like this, the Ferrari must have bitten it BIG time lol.
  6. Hi guys, small update on progress so far. Thanks Rick for the Instruction Sheets, immense help!
  7. Your pics are a great help to my resto of the same truck, looks good!
  8. Absolutely, I’ll post some tonight when I get home.
  9. Hi, thought I’d share pics of this one I got from my uncle (the original owner) My Grandad would take him & his sister to the local slot car track in the sixties to race. They went often, judging by the battle scars on this old warhorse. His sister’s (my mum) car is long gone (allegedly a blue Ferrari)
  10. Great work on correcting the profile, looking forward to seeing the progress on this one!
  11. Got these this morning at a model kit swap meet, was worth the drive, good event. All complete & unstarted.
  12. I’m not sure, but the toy shop near me has had one on the shelf for donks
  13. Doyusha makes / made this Mk. 1
  14. Here’s my Airfix Cortina, slot car version. Has too much personality to restore lol.
  15. I like how the engine parts are cast so you can build it with the innards exposed for a diorama or something. And Mr Sfangoch, I’m still working on my Aussie Four Door 56 you sent me pics for.
  16. I got this one in a Facebook Marketplace deal, it’s all there too! I’ve been offered a Monogram ‘Boss A Bone’ Box, decals & instructions (But no model dammit!) from the same seller, but have no idea what to offer for it.
  17. Amazing work as always Mr Zombie, your weathering is second to none.
  18. Looks great! I built one when I was first getting back into modeling lol. I wish it looked like yours!
  19. Hi Guys & Gals, last week I shared some pics of a couple of rigs my grandad built for my uncle in the Seventies. My uncle has given them to me, and I’m trying to restore the ‘Movin’ On’ Kenny to give back to him. As you may have seen, paint was limited to the cab & hood and the rest had been pretty haphazardly ‘assembled’. Well I started the process this weekend, degreaser bath, disassembly and a little re-assembly. It would of course be easier to buy a Round 2 reissue, but it’s been around for so long, I want to try and save it. Thanks for the advice & tips in advance!
  20. Thanks Kurth, I’ve bought some Kenvil brand stuff, I’ll give it a go, appreciate your response
  21. Just tried to find it online, can’t probably cos I’m a bit hopeless. Is it all just Heavy Duty Degreaser?
