  1. That’s really cool
  2. I got this one off fleabay, it even said it was ‘checked and complete’ and by complete they obviously meant no engine, wheels and half the frame seller was a total gent about it though and apologised, gave me a refund and Iet me keep what was there. So at least I got this neat box for my shelf.
  3. Not to derail the thread, but the 1983 Issue seems to have different wheels, and I would think the one I’m after is older (not much though) and I can’t find any other older release molded in black w/flames
  4. Thank you sir. I think I’ve got it pinned down to a 1983 release now. My current brain is arguing with my 9 year old memories about it.
  5. May I ask sir if that 57 Chevy has opening doors? I’ve been trying to identify at my uncle had wayyy back when and I’m sure that’s the one. Also does anyone know which manufacturer it’s from? And great score by the way!
  6. Here’s my Vanishing Point Challenger. Love that movie so much.
  7. I got this one in the mail today. Had the original when I was a kid. This is probably a re-issue as I was sure the canopy was molded in white, but glue fumes may have dulled my memory. Still sealed. Or at least it was.. ? Ps. I bothered to look at the instructions... 1996 yep reissue.

  10. I loved this video. The owner seems like a nice guy too.
  11. That’s very generous of you Jon, but then you won’t have one. I was going to strip mine when I try to fix it.
  12. Looks great! Those doors are a bugger though, aren’t they?!
  13. Thanks Mr Mopar, I figured I can fix it, it’s just a bit frustrating buying a new kit and having this happen. But I acknowledge it’s a first world problem ? you’re right, I’ll just fix it.
  14. Hi All, I’ve been working on a Beetle Bus and was test fitting the front suspension parts and realized the spindle for one of the wheels isn’t there. It’s been chromed over, so it’s been manufactured this way. Should I just fix it myself and move on, or is Round 2 worth contacting? I’m in Australia, and I suspect I should just fix it.
  15. Man this is awesome, I love how you’ve got Jim’s trailer with Angel & Rocky too.
  16. Cool, reminds me of a Karmann Ghia from some angles.
  17. I got these three today, boxes are beat up, but they’re all there and unassembled. I haven’t built any of these before so they’ll be new for me. I say all there but the ‘Vette is missing the red tail light lenses.
  18. Looks great, I like the scratches on the door too, they look just right.
  19. I saw this at the beach today. I was looking at the rocks with my son, laughed and said “that one looks like an engine block” got closer and yep, heavily encrusted four banger and gearbox lol.
  20. Thanks, I did end up realising they all had locating pins, but it was super handy to have the pics to check against. 2009? I bought this brand new from Toyworld two weeks ago, and they’d just got it in then! Guess the distributors have a backload of stock here in Australia.
  21. Here’s mine: Airfix Lotus Cortina. It’s missing the bumpers, but I’m not sure I want to restore it anyway. Some glue bombs speak volumes of their life as they are.
  22. Tim Boyd, I know this is an ancient thread, but thank you so much for your shots of the high boy motor. The Revell instructions show the heads and the plates the extractors attatch to upside down. I thought I was going insane and would have been lost without your pics, thanks heaps!
  23. Your weathering effects are awesome, looks terrific!
