Revell 1956 Ford Thunderbird 1/24 Scale in Pearl Magenta.

Thanks Mathias! I did airbrush the Magenta. I think Createx paints are fairly easy to work with, but I do suggest following their recommendations on thinning ratio (at least to start with) and using their products with their paints. Better safe than sorry. I do usually end up adding Reducer to the paint mixture as my airbrush seems to require thinner paints to spray well, but that's just me and my airbrush. I've seen some that barely have to thin the paint, while others like me need to add more Reducer for better results. -

Thanks Tom! I haven't tried the 4053 yet, I plan on buying a bottle pretty soon. From the videos I've seen, it is glossier than the 4050. The 4050 is pretty easy to work with, I start with the company's suggested thin ratio, then add a bit more thinner as my airbrush doesn't like to spray it at the suggested thickness. It does need wet-sanding and/or polishing to get shiny. -

Thanks everyone, much appreciated! -
I did this one for my wife, she saw it last time we were at Hobby Lobby and bought it for me and picked out the paint. It's Createx Pearl Magenta with Anita's Metallic White for the top. I cleared it with Createx UVLS 4050 Gloss with the usual wet-sand, polish, and wax treatment. The interior is a custom mix of pink craft paints with the Pearl Magenta sprayed over white embossing powder for the carpet. I added spark plug wires and heater hoses for extra detail. The kit shows it's age a little, but overall it's pretty decent and it was a lot of fun building it for the wife. Thanks for looking!!
