  1. The hood decals look out of place, but the rest looks very cool.
  2. Great work. It's nice when something like that gets finished.
  3. I could never just collect promos, I'd modify, paint and build. Or just re-sell/trade away immediately.
  4. Why not just keep this as an ongoing interest. People are still working so may as well nix the end date.
  5. And what the heck is a "tonic cover"?
  6. After seeing your work, I'm not sure you need much help in the creativity department, but I have build a few cars like this over the last few years. If you are interested, check out the following. I'm very much enjoying your work. Cherry 2000 Mustang http://s53.photobucket.com/user/Jantrix/library/Cherry%202000?page=1 Spartan Deathracer http://s53.photobucket.com/user/Jantrix/library/Deathrace%20300C?page=1 The Gunslinger http://s53.photobucket.com/user/Jantrix/library/Gunslinger?page=1 If I can be any help, let me know.
  7. Well it doesn't look very comfortable, but it sure is neat looking. I always enjoy your work.
  8. Hey that is seriously unique. I really love originality and that's right down my alley. Well done sir.
  9. Lol. No wonder you want more decals. Ill be using my kit to do a Monogram 57 gasser. Eventually.
  10. Very cool.
  11. I just got a PM from another member I'm trading with, who asked me, "Why did this package get returned to me with the message "no such address"?" Well that's because I sent him a combination of my current and previous address. I'm turning 45 this year, I think the senior moments are starting.
  12. Man there is some cool stuff going on here. I need to get mine started.
  13. I'd love to see a tutorial on how you accomplished the finish.
  14. I dig it!
  15. Tommy that is very implessive. That looks very authentic. Great work.
  16. How well does this accept paint. Does it stand up to our paint strippers?
  17. Very cool!
  18. I sliced open the pad of my left thumb from stem to stern with a razor knife about 25 years ago. Since then just little nics and cuts occasionally.
  19. I wouldn't worry too much about videos. Most folks here don't watch videos when they get posted.
  20. Love it! Nice job!
  21. I know, but the rumor is there are still a few molds still in existence because the current owner is still selling kits at shows. Although I have heard the quality is terrible.
  22. Well here's hoping they can acquire whatever Johan molds still exist and call it a sweep.
  23. I'm pretty sure that's true as well. The resin community (and other aftermarket goodies) are a major part of this hobby. Model companies are staking a lot on the continuation of this hobby and are not likely to start pulling cards from the house of cards unless the need is great. As I've heard, resin casting is very labor intensive, so folks cranking out huge amounts of parts is difficult to do. Maybe when the 3D printing allows folks to do that, they might get nervous.
