Hmm..............the ONLY deuce I've ever done is this Monogram build-up from the my teens. I'm very pleased to still have it. I have the Revell roadster, 3 window and sedan in my stash, but have yet to tear into them. My son William has finished this Revell kit.

I tried one that size. I started sanding a mold line on the body and the darn thing disappeared. Keep on going. Wanna see more.

Is the dust on that Camaro in scale? If you're going to show your work, regardless of how old it is, dust it off first.

Holy Shnikes! I'm just floored with the quality of work. There is a better gloss on that rear end then I've ever gotten on a model body. The bodywork is flawless. Unless I'm mistaken I assume Alcad is unforgiving of flaws and would show them well. I'm so glad you didn't try to add real leather to the seats as I've seen time and again and it never looks right to me. You just did a great job painting and it works! Fantastic.

I need to learn how to easily reduce images for making decals, without loosing clarity and focus. I do not have any art programs past Paint and do not know a pixel from a pixie. Can someone offer me a tutorial on this procedure? Is there a freeware program that I could use? And once I have the program how should I go about it? Any help is kindly appreciated.

I've got some spare parts from Tom Daniels beer wagon here. The tail lamps are guite original. What are theses based upon? I might use them in a rat rod project if I can find some decent pics of what they are based upon.

More work done on my 40 Surf Rod. I've changed the title from "surf rat" because there won't be anything the least bit ratty about this pick-up. Cab and hood get the flat black tomorrow. I've glued the doors into the cab shell and added diamond plate to the bed to make it look more ffunctional for a surf rod than a wood bed that would get beat up and damaged from sand, salt and water. Critiques welcome as usual.

Yeah I gotta agree. He's got a knack for purposely writing (badly, which he knows we've got no tolerance for) things and that push peoples buttons, while claiming all the while he's just trying to be helpful.

Man, this is what I'm all about. Taking a kit and doing something cool, new and different with it. Way to be original. Good work. If I can make a single criticism? Slow down a bit. There are a few issues where it looks like fingerprints in paint that wasn't cured yet. It's one thing to be gung-ho, another to have a 'DOH!' moment because you rushed through it.
