  1. When in doubt, scuff it up, add a wash, and call it weathered.
  2. I'll look into that.
  3. I'll go through this thread and re-post the photos as this one will be the first model to hit the bench in the new hobby room.Stay tuned.
  4. Great stuff guys. Thanks.
  5. Anyone else noticed previously blocked Photobucket pics are now visible again?
  6. WOW. LIKE A BOSS! The timing was impeccable. The props stopped, and a second later he's on the ground. Very impressive.
  7. Wow. My Photobucket photos are back. Can everyone see them?
  8. Parts like that are saved for dioramas. In a model car, no. If it can't be seen easily, I don't detail it. My builds take too long as it is.
  9. Don, that's a good idea. I think a pair of these stacked would be ideal though. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40196241/#/50264927
  10. Okay. Long story short. New house. HOBBY ROOM! But a small one. About 9'x10'. Most of my stuff has been spread out in previous homes, in garage, closets, under beds, etc. So lots of little storage bins, boxes and Rubbermaid drawers. It's not going to work in this room anymore. I need cabinetry this time I think. With 2"-4" drawers. I need recommendations. I'm no Norm Abrams, so building my own cabinets is likely not gonna happen. Anyone found anything from Ikea maybe? Something like a Stanley Vidmar, but without the heart stopping price. Any help would be appreciated.
  11. I haven't found a way. I've been going photo by photo.
  12. Guys, sorry to hold this up. My country palace has very limited internet and the house PC isn't set up yet. To the question at hand. I'd no idea it was going to be this complicated. So rather than go through individual questions of this is legal and this is not, please disregard my previous comment to Zenrat, posted above. There will be no restrictions on how you use the in-line engines as long as you don't physically join the crankcases to create a non-inline engine. If you want them side by side, one behind the other, one upside down and backwards, it's all good. I figure on a challenge like this one, MORE creative freedom is the key to keeping folks inspired and interested. Sound good?
  13. I approve.
  14. It's a model in itself. It will be a shame to put it in a car. Outstanding work.
  15. I'm very happy you made it through okay. I'd really like to applaud your self sufficiency, and your preparedness. So many people just figure, "my parents, neighbors, community, local government, will take care of me if something bad happens". And not prepare themselves. And thus make things worse by making themselves a burden on others. I saw this a lot when I was in the Florida Air National Guard when Ike beat us up in '08. Well done sir.
  16. Very nice work. I like it a lot.
  17. I love stuff like this. Very good concept.
  18. I approve. Nice work.
  19. Very cool.
  20. It's no surprise that you'd be the one to ask this. The answer is no. No limit. But all the engines must be in line.
  21. If there is a demand for the kit, why the limited run? Yeah, the ebay prices will get stupid, but that can't be the point for the manufacturer.
