  1. Looks to me like grandson got it from gramps for his first car and proceeded to personalize it. Definitely a 70s style to it!
  2. Looking great so far! Please post the finished work on my thread.
  3. I'm thinking were going to use PlayDough to fill in the footprints in the lunar surface to protect the detail, and then powder the undisturbed moon dirt areas, followed by pulling of the PlayDough to show the footprints again.
  4. That's good business economics! List something, when it doesn't sell, raise the price to make up for the financial loss. At this rate, he'll be up to 100k waiting for a sucker.
  5. Why would Revell want to? With Round 2 already well into the Coke licensing, they would just get diluted sales. But I'm sure they could find a niche that hasn't been tapped yet.
  6. Well, that leaves me out. I've already got too many of the 79 Camaros. Snap kit or not, I was interested in the 80-81 Camaro. Another go-round of the same 79 is a big bowl of 'meh'. ?
  7. In America these cars were named Impulse. IIRC they were designed in Italy. They were good looking cars, I used to have the Testors issue of this kit. Sadly, I sold it a long time ago. Seeing yours, I now wish I'd kept it. ?
  8. I do like the silver steel freeze plugs on the engine block. Nice detail. But don't you think they should be brass, so they don't rust?
  9. Looks like it's already built so he probably thinks you should pay for his labor time.
  10. But I'm sure George probably would've TOLD you he did!!
  11. "Sodas" I get it!!!!
  12. Probably a variation, but look - no spats or fender vents. Definitely not a Z28.
  13. Their box art gets better and better with every issue! Still hate their logo, though. But their nailing their subject matter!
  14. For a snapper, the CHiPs Camaro looks pretty good. I've never had one, but it looks like the t-tops are molded in and the body contains all the 80-81 trim. Now if they include multiple colors of the Z28 stripes - I'm in! I could use other kits to "accurize" the chassis . It looks like the closest we'll get to the last of the 2nd gen. BTW, the Monogram snapper has an offset turbo hood blister. Never offered by Chevrolet.
  15. I think I found it! Revell kit from 1980. Unless they got this "Backbirth" But I don't think so.
  16. Now that one makes sense!
  17. Actually, the 32 Chevy panel truck and cabriolet were originally issued together in 1965 as a 9n1 version kit. Followed by the two versions as separate kits. The two kits share everything but the body parts. Ancillary parts lived on in the cabriolet and the delivery was butchered into the Barnabas Vampire van. The cabriolet was last issued in 1987. 1965 1966 1974 1977 1987
  18. X2 ✌ I enjoy your builds, but I would like to know what kits you started with.
  19. If anybody has these, it would probably be Atlantis. Alright, start the letter writing campaign!
  20. Even according to your reference, the Boss Super Stang is the second release of the Boss 302. I'll try looking for both!
  21. Was this kit the same as PSMs Boss 302? I've always hoped that if I could find one, I'd try to correct the nose and taillight area to 70 specs. Looks to me like Palmer actually got the body proportions right, they just got lost on the front details. I think that Monogram parts could fix it.
