  1. Good to hear of your positive turn around. Best wishes and hoping you continue your recovery.
  2. Well my version of it anyway. I started out with this simple kit. I started building it and painted it a few years ago then put it all back in the box until last week. I didn't like that paint job very much....probably why it sat in the box for so long. I stripped the body and repainted it a few days ago and I liked that a lot better. The new paint gave me the motivation to finish it up. Not super detailed or anything, just a basic shelf build with a few modifications and parts added. Thanks for checking it out. As always comments and discussion welcome.
  3. Welcome James and good luck with your build. There is a wealth of collective knowledge here so you came to the right place.
  4. Cool. It would be nice if R2 tooled up custom front and rear grills for it.
  5. Very sharp. Like that a lot.
  6. Very nice. That color looks great on it.
  7. Very sharp. Looks great in the well done black paint.
  8. Clean!
  9. Agreed. Same here. Fun to watch how this situation unfolds though.
  10. Just a fantastic turn out here! In the beginning Now. We've come a long way. Amazing evolution of America's first Pony Car! A few more of my old builds Part of my unbuilt 'Stang stash
  11. Very cool Bernard! Love the wide fives and dirt track tires.
  12. Nice replica. What did you use for the blue and yellow on it?
  13. Looks real good. Perfect color and graphics for the period. Hope you finish it!
  14. Now that's a Fox that means business! Great job.
  15. Clean. Good job on a classic race car.
  16. Just don't see many of these built these days. Excellent build of a classic. Thanks for posting and well done. Just for reference
  17. You get it. I will. Thanks.
  18. Thanks and I agree. I've already changed them back. I appreciated all the replies on this build. I know my style isn't everyone's "cup o tea" but I just enjoy these old AMT kits. I grew up glue bombing them together and I see no reason to change now!
  19. I built this Northeast asphalt style modified from memory, spare parts and scratching a few bits around 1979. It's the oldest of my builds that I still have.
  20. Sharp Torino. Looks great in that color.
  21. Thanks all! I like the open steelies best too but it was suggested to me that spun aluminum disc would look better than the chrome moons. What ya'll think?
  22. Been hearing "rumors" about the Revell 30 coupe and it's alleged supply issues and I didn't have my copy yet so I meandered over to HL today. They only had one left so I picked it up on a 40% coupon.
  23. What a cool thread! I love this stuff! This one was barely worth saving, it was a lot worse that the photo shows......... ........but I liked the bubble top on so I spent way too much time and money on it.
  24. Thanks Ace.
  25. Got this old Ford done today. That resin body was a real "treat" but I liked the chop so I made it and eveything else fit. I'm still coughing from the resin dust....LOL As always comments, suggestions and discussions are welcome.
