  1. Just wait until you start playing with the PE stuff... There isn't anyone on this board that's used PE parts and hasn't seen one of them go zinging off of the tweezers, never to be seen by human eyes again...
  2. Yeah, but what's worse is when you have a small part in the tweezers and it goes flying off to no one knows where...then you're really screwed, because of course, it was your only or last one...
  3. OK! I'll make sure to peel the cellophane off of mine by the 23rd!!
  4. Thanks for the info, Lyle. I don't mind calling. My problem is finding a good time during the day to call, given the three hour time difference...that's why a web based solution is so much easier for us folk on the left coast. I'll check the Fotki link when I get home. I've seen the occasional picture of Norm's parts either in the magazines or on the posts. A lot of it looks like really good stuff that I'm interested in. Regards,
  5. Thanks, but I can't access Fotki from work. I'll have to check it when I get home.
  6. Very nice build, Ismael!! Keep up the good work,
  7. Michael, Are you still trying to sell the engine bay picture of that Chevy as a model? Very nice detail work under the hood!! It all looks authentic and to scale!!
  8. Looking good, Bill!! I may have to buy a few raffle tickets!!
  9. Looking good, Clay! The "foot" is too cool!!
  10. Looking good, Clay! You guys are killing me! I won't even have time to start on mine until Sunday...
  11. It looks like you're off to a nice start, Marcos!!
  12. Another very nice build, Lyle!! And, GREAT job mastering the parts!! I'm going to have to get one of those kits for myself. I just really wish that these guys had their own website to see what's available and to buy from. Regards,
  13. Never give up your dream, my young friend...just make sure it's the right time and the right choice for you and your family before you invest the family funds. Regards,
  14. No problem, Bernard! I was glad to help and even more glad that they didn't get lost in the mail!! From what I can see in the reflection of the bellypan, it's looking pretty good! It also looks like you got the nose fitting really well. I'm probably a poor judge on this one, but the wheels look a little too big to me...(but we've all seen how well I judge wheel sizes ).
  15. Very well done stocker, Bob!! I must say that you have a very broad range of model building interests!!
  16. Glad to help, Bernard!! Do you have the louvers yet? I know that Clay received his package yesterday. They both went in the mail on Monday. Regards,
  17. I don't see why not...you're no further behind than I am! But it's "EvilOne's" show...
  18. Hmmm...Now I see why Clay likes monster trucks! That's one happy looking guy!
  19. OK. I'll do that, too!
  20. will do, Sergeant! Just as soon as I get the cello off of the box!
  21. Lyle, Any idea what it'll take to get those guys to setup their own website? I'd really like to see what they have to offer and be able to but it online via PayPal.
  22. In earthquake country you need to glue the tires to the shelf just to keep them from bouncing off!!
  23. Are you kidding??? Mine's still in the cellophane! I'll start on it Sunday, after the NNL West.
  24. ######, Curt!! I'm not sure, but I think you're popin' out about three or four builds to my one!! I better get movin'! Another very nice build!! I can't wait to see it on Saturday, unless you've got something long enough to carry it when we meet for lunch tomorrow...
  25. Very nice job, my old friend!! Looking at the body, you've got to wonder how many Pinewood Derby cars the designer built when he was young!
