  1. That's looking pretty sharp, CAL!!
  2. Milt, I've got a lot of Model A engine pics. Send me a PM with your email address and I'll send them to you this evening. Regards,
  3. Now that's one good lookin' dawg!!
  4. Maybe I'll have to start sending my builds to her first for paint! Great job!
  5. Very nice start, Michael!! Where did the distributor come from?
  6. Now that's funny!! Were you guys shootin' for a girl? Congratulations, Clay and Andrea!!
  7. Yep, that's the one: AMT '55 Cameo pickup (for the bed, the hood and possibly the grille) AMT '57 Cameo or Step-Side pickup (for the cab and possibly the grille) AMT '62 Vette (For the side scallops) AMT '94/95 ZR-1 Vette (for the hood scoop, dash, seats, console and a few "bits" under the hood) 2x Revell '06 Z06 Vettes (for the tires, wheels, chassis, suspension, engine, drive train and rearview mirrors) A mid-fifty's Revell Chevy coupe or sedan kit (for the door handles and windshield wipers) 0.040" Plastruct sheet for the bed floor, bed cover and the rear wing. Or, wait for the transkit resin cab...then you only need a 55-57 Chevy Cameo or Step-side bed.
  8. That's funny!! I added the wing because I needed a way to open the bed cover.
  9. Very nice paint work, Robert. How about some more pics??
  10. The paint and BMF work looks great!! How about some engine and chassis pics??
  11. Great looking paint work and scheme!! Overall it's a very clean build!
  12. Very clean build. How about some engine and chassis pics?
  13. I'll second that!!
  14. Keep up the good work Darrell! Custom cars are just too much fun to build!!
  15. There was food to the left of the front door. The sandwiches were pretty good and the prices weren't too bad, considering they had a captive audience.
  16. The vendors are given blank name tags. Most of us just stuck them to our jackets without bothering to put our names on them... If you wear a name tag next year I'll come up and introduce myself!
  17. That's good news. That's why I haven't bought any of their new colors. I still use and really like their first generation of lacquer spray paint. Due to my time constraints, to me there's nothing better that being able to get a good paint job without having to deal with setting up and cleaning my airbrush. For that benefit, I'll pay the extra $$ for aerosol cans. Thanks Testors for finally offering great paint in a simple to use spray can!
  18. Very nice!! I like that a lot!!
  19. That was Curt Raitz that you bought the Alpine from and you got the truck from me. Curt's friend Steve was with us at the table most of the day and Jerry Cardinal moved between sitting with us at the table to chatting with folks about the models on display. Yes, I remember your shirt!
  20. My best source for dash panels is eBay. Sellers will often take closeup pics of the dash panel to show the mileage. Even better, sometimes you'll find a picture of just the dash panel for sale. Once I have a copy of the image, I scale it in PowerPoint then print it onto glossy photo paper. That's how I was able to get a perfect copy of a mid-nineties ZR-1 instrument panel for one of my projects. Here's a picture of of an instrument panel for a 1967-1972 Chevy GM truck that I just found with a quick search: Here's one for a 63-67 Vette: Good luck,
  21. I guess that shows what I was looking at and why I missed it!
  22. OK, where did that one come from? I don't remember seeing it at the NNL West... Nice job, my friend!! The Dino is one of my favorite Ferraris!!
  23. Very nice, Kenny!! The chop looks pretty good!! I really like to model box of the kit on the front seat...
  24. I'm confused...which one of those pictures is Mrs. Raitz?
