  1. VERY NICE!!! The paint, decal and detail work is excellent!!
  2. The stripe looks interesting. Do you have a better photo angle of it?
  3. Very nice job, my old friend!! Is this the one that you were going to name "The Salt Licker"???
  4. Very nice build of a great old kit!!
  5. Very nice build!! I also like the garage scene that you used for the pics!!
  6. That is really coming along nicely!! All of the details look crisp and clean!!
  7. Jeff, If that's what they look like after they fall and you rebuild them, then I'd suggest that you "drop" a few more. That is an excellent display of workmanship and craftsmanship!! My favorite model that best depicts what the style of model that I build these days would have to be the '57 Chevy Cameo pickup that was done in a Corvette theme. I really like blending and mixing the old and the new styles into one cohesive design. Thanks for adding this topic,
  8. The model looks great, but the pics are too small...
  9. As I recall, the "Trans Am" name is licensed by GM through the SCCA. for Every Trans Am that GM sells, the SCCA gets a $5 royalty. Here's a link to the story: http://www.sportscarmarket.com/Profiles/20...ember/American/
  10. I'm "Plum Crazy" about the color!!
  11. Another build coming along nicely!! You're going to have quite a collection of updated MOPAR muscle cars!!
  12. I really like that hood design!! It looks like this build is coming along nicely!!
  13. Now that's a nice collection of Vettes!!
  14. Very nice paint and BMF work!! The color looks great on the car!!
  15. No that's a very clean build! The black window trim looks clean and crisp! Excellent workmanship!!
  16. Very nice, Steve!! The mirrored firewall really shows off the Nailhead, which is great to see because there are so few of them used in models these days... I think that white tuck and roll on the roof would help balance the color and style of the model, especially if you use white tuck and rool in the interior.
  17. I really like the MAMA Merc!! What are the headlights from?
  18. Very nice paint and BMF work!! I can't wait to see this one finished. I always loved the early Z's!!
  19. I agree...between the big meats, the major tubs and the cowl induction hood, I wouldn't put this one in the "sleeper" category if I saw it on the street. The engine detail and the color look great!! Keep up the good work!!
  20. That's interesting, Rick...the new lacquers also got me back into model car building. I got really tired of dealing with enamel rattle can blues and switched over to military and sci-fi model building for several years. In that time I also built a complete, fully landscaped N gage train layout. Thanks to Testors and Tamiya for finally making the painting portion of the process so much easier and enjoyable!!
  21. Here's my AMT '25 T with the engine, chassis, tires and wheels from the Revell '40 Ford.
  22. I've only been posting for about a month, but I have to agree fully with Bruce. Welcome and enjoy!!
  23. Tom, Please keep us posted as you go. I'm really interested in starting this kit. Thanks for sharing!!
  24. GREAT JOB!! Keep up the GREAT work!! How is he doing on the next one?
  25. Nice and clean build!! Keep up the good work and the posts!! Can you imagine what it was like to stop that 396 with those old single cylinder master brake, 4 wheel drum systems?
