  1. Thanks guys, and thanks for the tip on painting the badges/wheels! I've just started experimenting with the Apple Barrel paints in the last couple of weeks, so far trying out various thicknesses and mixes on parts like grilles and wire wheels. I hadn't really thought about using the brighter colors for trim, but may revisit this model to do just that.
  2. Nicely done, and great choice of color for it!
  3. Nicely done! Where did you get the scripts?
  4. Thanks! Yup, already have one in the stash!
  5. Nice to see one of these big old Lincolns!
  6. Very clean work, that looks great!
  7. That's a great looking Cadillac, nice work!
  8. Awesome work on both the model and the story, it looks (and sounds) very familiar here as well!
  9. Wow. beautiful job on this!
  10. Thanks! Whoops, must've been late in the day when I did that! It's held on with white glue, though, so it should (hopefully) be an easy fix. Thanks for pointing it out!
  11. Nicely done, I really like that color for the Z!
  12. Very clean work, the 280Z one of my all-time favorite designs. Nicely done!
  13. Thank you!
  14. Very cool, nicely done!
  15. Beautiful job on the paint, this looks great!
  16. Thanks, guys!
  17. Thanks, guys! Ouch! it seems like there's always one that gets away.
  18. Thanks, guys! Good catch! I haven't found a mule figure that I really liked as a starting point yet, so at the moment I'm just leaving it off. If I do, or if I get inspired to carve one myself, I'll be updating this build. As for the decals, they're on the "Gasser Mini Sheet #36," available here: http://www.slixx.com/8060.htm?id=5505
  19. Pepe the Little Mule, built from Revell's '80 Ford Bronco. The base kit is really close, but needed a lot of little details changed including a reshaped grille guard, relocated sideview mirrors, bench seat, custom roll bar with 6x driving lights, dual gas cans, and a rolled rear pan. I used tires from a couple of diecast cars mounted on rims from HoppersBazaar, and the sidepipes were from an AMT Camaro. The door decals were from a recent Slixx set. A full writeup of what went into this build is available here, any comments/criticisms are welcome!
