That'll buff right out! Looks great, I love it!
  3. Brilliant!
  4. Thanks, guys! Nice! You're right, I was happily surprised by the quality of the kit considering its age and the subject matter.
  5. You've done some nice clean work on this, it looks great!
  6. I like the look of this, it's a great tribute.

  8. Outstanding work, this turned out great!
  9. This is AMT's D50 with a 3D printed grille I drew up, parts box headlights with scratch built buckets, Fujimi wheels, a parts box manual transmission, custom bug shield, scratch built running boards, and scratch built fast food tchotchkes. Any comments/criticisms are welcome!
  10. Looks good, nice job!
  11. Nicely done! I flubbed the paint a bit on mine, using orange for the middle color instead of gold. This looks much more accurate.
  12. Awesome job on this, very clean and some fantastic detailing!
  13. My oldest surviving build would have to be this Corvette, built sometime in the late 1980s. The Vette on the right is a rebuild of the same kit that I did a couple years ago: The oldest model I have as far as raw plastic would be this one, built from an original (and badly warped) 1958 promo: I think the oldest original/untouched kit in my collection is this AMT ZZR from 1966:
  14. UPDATE! I finally got around to making the hood ornament, so now Pepe is truly and properly finished. It started out as a set of N scale horses, which I Frankensteined together to get the overall shape then added the ears, tail, and muzzle. The left front leg is a piece of wire that goes into the body and down through the hood as a mount. The whole thing was smoothed off with superglue and putty, and painted with Molotow Liquid Chrome
  15. Nicely done, I especially like the added touch of the open cowl vent. Nice job on the figures, too - I've tried a couple of times but have never really been satisfied with any of my attempts. It's definitely a unique challenge!
  16. Excellent work on this, it turned out great!
  17. Great story and excellent job on the build!
