  1. Hi all, I've been lurking here for a couple of days trying to figure out what I'd like to join with, and just realized I was overthinking it. I'll be building the first car on Anthony's poster that I don't have in my collection yet, the Hot Rods to Hell Corvette. I have (most of) a gluebomb Revell kit I found on eBay before the recent reissue, and somewhere around here I have the Car Kulture Deluxe magazine with it as the cover article car.
  2. Looks good, these are some fun builds.
  3. Your hard work on this has paid off, that's an outstanding conversion!
  4. That's a great looking Escort, nicely done!
  5. Very clean work on these, they both look great!
  6. Awesome job on this, it turned out great!
  7. Nice job on this!

Very nice, especially the DB5...that's a tough kit to get to look nice, so your work here is all the more impressive!
  9. Beautiful work, that's a great clean custom!
  10. Nicely done! The only time I built a '72 I used a grille from Modelhaus to backdate it to a '71, so I never noticed what came in the box.
  11. Very nicely done, that color looks great on the C3. I particularly like it with the soft top in place, the contrast really pops.
  12. Thanks, guys! The cab floor is out of the same '66 that donated the frame...I'm not sure if it's 100% accurate here, but it looked close enough for what I wanted and fit the AMT cab surprisingly well.
  13. Looks great, nicely done!
  14. For all the fighting it gave you, it turned out nice
  15. Beautiful work, the paint and custom parts really look great on this car.
  16. Yup, gotta love Hollywood cars (and their stunt doubles!). I had started building it with the 427, and got as far as having it installed in the frame when "In the Beginning" aired and Dean called it out as the SB.
  17. Thanks, Kurt! I got it from one of the craft stores, either Michael's or JoAnn's, in their craft paper section.
  18. Nicely done, the color and wheel choice are excellent.
  19. Beautiful work, that red interior was a perfect choice.
  20. I think the only problem I have is that your work is so clean, it's impossible to appreciate how much you fixed unless you know what the "before" looked like. Awesome job as always!
  21. Officially the Supernatural car is supposed to have a 327 w/automatic. I used the one out of Revell's '64 Impala in mine, so if AMT skips this detail I know that one drops in with little headache. One thing I notice they seemed to have skipped is the spotlights, which were dropped after the first few seasons.
  22. Bult from AMT's '72 Cheyenne kit, with a modified frame from Revell's '66 Chevy pickup and the engine from their '69 Nova. The drivetrain is a combination of parts from AMT's '84 GMC and scratch building, with resin wheels from eBay sleeved to fit Monogram's big off-road Goodyears. More info on the build is available here, and as always any comments/criticisms are welcome.
